No idea yet. Hopefully it's Jeremy Soule.

I love it too, it's right up there with the Morrowind theme in terms of quality. :)

You mean you think you've been singing it.

It's probably my favourite title theme in the TES series. Hopefully it's Wagner. XD

I love it. I can't choose between its theme and Morrowind's. D:

Agree. Taking into account Morrowind's nostalgia factor, I think I like it best so far.

I can't say it's my favorite, since I've only heard the same snippet as most folks, but I can say that it continues the precedent set by Morrowind and continued with Oblivion and the Fallouts for a cinematic score of a very high calibre. Bethesda has always managed to give me some of my favorite game music... About all I can remember that stacks up against it for me personally are the soundtracks for Command and Conquer games back in the old Westwood days.

For the king, for the king,
For the sake of Skyrim,
For our land, for our home,
For Hrothgar's? Blood,
For the Nords and for the Gods,
For the sole single son,
Dovahkiin, our king, who will dawn with fire!

I love it. :mohawk:

Hair raising is always a sign of a powerful song and this is one of them.

El svcko. Very disappointed by the music, was hoping for something more distinguished and unique

EDIT: Needs to ditch the violins and other stringed instruments. Sounds too much like classical music and LotR/Harry Potter/etc. soundtracks.

It's great, sure, but it shold have had more resemblence with the Morrowind theme (which, imo, has become the Elder Scrolls theme).

I dunno, I feel that many of the soundtracks from GoW2 are much more visceral and epic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYUgWGeqOVM&feature=related has always been a favorite of mine.

its AWSOME, but i think they should skip the first few seconds.

for the title they should skip most of the song and get to the build up before the "for the king...." because that bit is explosive.
