I didn't think much of the game to begin with. Honestly.
The whole idea of a post nuclear waste land bores me tremendously after reading every single science fiction available in my youth.
I played Unreal Tournament (Assault) for 11 years in different clans. So, guns, grenades and such is not that exiting anymore. And having played Skyrim, Dragon Age Inquisition and Witcher 3 for thousands of hours made it REALLY hard to switch to a new game in that genre.
Well, I noticed the popularity around the net. I saw how the mod community on Nexus grew. Ok... let's have a peek then. Why not?
My first impression was the silence. The waste land. And the silence. The silence was deafening.
It's was so quiet that I got this feeling of butterflies in my stomach. An exitement growing like when you blow the glowing coals from last night and watch the color turn red again.
There was something wrong here? Better check it out.
I still didn't think much of the game yet. Sneaking around killing monsters? Doing hero of the day quests, buildfing houses and nurse mutfruits and melons?
Well, ok. But still not just what I expected. Not quite.
What turned my opinion in the positive direction was actually meeting Piper. When I met her and dragged her along the game started to feel nice.
Piper is really a nice piece of work. A personality with nice views and feelings. The game started to be cozy and funny.
"BLUE! We're not alone here!"
PS. I hate the feral ghouls. They are so annoying.
