That's not the worst of it. Skyrim is sold on DISCS. They totally stole that from the 3DO!

Ridiculous....nuff said.

I'm really happy, that i was never a die hard TES fan, cause it seems that they really have to cry about everything.

I love this game and enjoy every single minute of it.GotY (imo)!

I was having fun until I used a bow on my archer character, it felt pretty weird at first, then I realized what the problem was.

Using a bow is like playing CoD with bows instead of guns.

So you admit the first few decapitations were cool but then what? All of a sudden you had one that reminded you of NV and the whole game is ruined. Jesus man its not like you found a dike on your girlfriend, move on

Well said. Hell, I wish we had location based damage, but oh well. :)

Yeah, this game is SO similar to New Vegas it's uncanny, I mean there's hardly a difference.

Are we NOT playing New Vegas?

You know, I once saw a thread on these boards complaining that the loading times were too short.

Someone ought to do a study on forum posters' ability to complain and blow things out of proportion.

That's a perfectly legitimate complaint, some people want to read the tips and play with the 3D models but can't because they disappear too quickly.

You know what else? There were, like, these NPCs in Fallout that'd be, you know, like, walking around and stuff trying to get me to do all these crazy side quests. I mean, what's with that?!

I took the 1 handed perk that gives you a chance to decapitate. I thought that i would have fun with it.. and the first few were..

But last night it went into the cinematic view, slow motion , decap.. and what did it EXACTLY resemble?

Fallout new vegas..

as much as i hate to admit it.. i cant have fun with this game.. it feels like im playing a MOD to new vegas
:\

Skyrim: Swords, magic, dragons, monsters, imaginary world, decapitation. FO:NV: Guns, Mutants, High tech, real world locations, full dismemberment........ Yeah your right, they sound exactly the same...

I completely agree. While recently playing it came to my attention that I was playing an open world RPG with both first, and third person cameras. This completely devastated me. More-so because I had just recently played Fallout: New Vegas the night before. Upon further inspection, I realized we could change our characters appearance, accept side quests, choose factions to side with and join, and operated the game with the mouse and keyboard. All of these features are clearly stolen from Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas.

Personally, I find Bethesda's blatant plagiarism and unoriginality both appalling and offensive. It aches me to know that, in the modern era, game companies are releasing games that share features from one another. Clearly this was not a problem back in the time of Pong and Chase The Dot.

Bethesda, I am deeply ashamed, and I am uninstalling Skyrim as we speak. I assure you I will never purchase another game with Bethesda on the label, and pray that you eventually hire somebody with an ounce of creativity.

I have just finished installing only games with completely original gaming elements in an attempt to boycott all these plagerists. So I will be enjoying my tetris, pong, and space invaders

Really? when i took off a female bandits head as my Orc last night i found my self breathing heavy and wiping my forehead as if i had blood over it. I find it very immersive and hope to see more of it.

Although i don't care for the slow motion.

Ha!

I thought you were exagerating, and then someone chimed in and said that "that is a perfectly legitimate complaint".

That's awesome.

It's taken you this long to realise that the finishing animations look and sound exactly like New Vegas? Lol. Just enjoy them, they're not gamebreakers.

Please forgive my stupidity, but may i humble ask what exactly turned you down? I haven't got that perk and i am close to taking it. Will it take my love away for Skyrim? I have played Fall Out Las vegas. But i vant remember what it could be that it resembles?
