Please forgive my stupidity, but may i humble ask what exactly turned you down? I haven't got that perk and i am close to taking it. Will it take my love away for Skyrim? I have played Fall Out Las vegas. But i vant remember what it could be that it resembles?

It's little different to the Fallout-ish animations you already see without using it, where your character does a fancy finishing move and the body falls down while playing the New Vegas 'body fall down' sound.

I took the 1 handed perk that gives you a chance to decapitate. I thought that i would have fun with it.. and the first few were..

But last night it went into the cinematic view, slow motion , decap.. and what did it EXACTLY resemble?

Fallout new vegas..

as much as i hate to admit it.. i cant have fun with this game.. it feels like im playing a MOD to new vegas
:\

yea
you think F3 is Oblivion with guns? now try this - it's Fallout in the middle age

To be honest.. i could do pretty much without those animations. When i cut my foo down there is always something weird sticking out of something. Like my sword through a shield, or half my body is sticking through the body of my enemy. They didn't realy paid a close attention to this.

It's because Skyrim's engine is nearly the same as Fallout New Vegas's. It is not a new engine as Bethesda would like you to believe, it is just a heavily modified Gamebryo engine.

Go back to New Vegas. You were on the right path, don't stray from proper RPGs, there is still hope for you.

The only thing I dislike about those decapitations . . . is that I can't take the head and put it on a shelf in my house.

But the thing is, this topic is nonsense because Bethesda DIDNT make NV, they made Fallout 3 but not New Vegas, so how can the animations be exactly the same? Hah, and Fallout 3 was a better game than NW, easily....

Bethesda may not have developed Fallout New Vegas but Obsidian Entertainment used Bethesda's engine (the same exact engine used to create Fallout 3) to make Fallout New Vegas. Therefor this topic makes sense and the comparison is completely logical.

The animations are a completely different topic and I don't believe they were even brought up. Bethesda has used a new program titled Havok. So the animations are of course completely different then any other game Bethesda has released in the past.
