Lovers Comfort

Post » Thu Jan 30, 2014 4:12 am

So, my character has lycanthropy, which means I won't be getting any sleeping bonuses. One wiki page says that Lovers Comfort will work even for werewolves, but another article says it won't work. What's true?

I have no idea.

If you are already married to an NPC then you could test it.

If you have the Lovers Stone, then a sleeping bonus should not work.

Well, I don't have it yet, but I want to make a character with a broad skillset, and right now I'm using the warriors stone.

Asking your spouse to sleep with a dog that would just as soon eat you as look at you is a lot to ask, isn't it?

Yeah, no lovers bonus. Sorry. Doesn't mean your spouse can't try, though!

Oh well, that's just unfortunate. Somebody should edit the page. So no Lovers Comfort for me? :(

Out of curiousity, which wiki says what? The rule of thumb is that UESP usually is correct, but the others are... Less reliable. Doesn't mean that this ALWAYS is the case though...

Only one of my characters have been married while still a werewolf, and only for a brief while, so I honestly don't remember. But I don't think it works.

It's elderscrolls.wikia. I generally use wikias for Bethesda games, but occasionally I use UESP for research. Well, leveling will be a pain.
