Loving the game on PC, thanks Splash Damage

Having fun with the game so far and havent run into any game breaking bugs... dont have all the controls and menus down quite yet.... Been playing as the medic and have been dying ALOT but consistently managing to have one of the higher scores on my team so I must not be doing too bad. you get more points from helping your team than you do from kills. I would say the game is very tactical and gamplay revolves around sprinting between various things you can take cover behind and advancing territory with your team. To win teams need to stick together and work as a team to complete objectives, its all about backing each other up and giving health, ammo, and shield buffs. Competitive/clan play would be great in Brink IMO. SMART is interesting and seems to function well

My system is 2-3 years old and is just over the minimum requirements for the game and I havent changed any of the default video detail settings which I think are medium to high for most things. The game seems to play fine so far and I think I am getting decent FPS since the game doesnt feel choppy. I havent noticed any lag other than in some of the cutomization menus (optimization?). Dont know how to check fps in game yet.

Core 2 Duo 2.13ghz stock overclocked to 3.2ghz

2 gb ram ddr2-800

9800 gt 1gb

Happy with purchase so far.. Great job on the game Splash Damage! :foodndrink:

bump.... played the game all day and am enjoying it more each time....

dont listen to the haters, this game is the best of 2011 so far. Almost as many players currently as Counter Strike (the most popular online game ever), as per Steam stats, which is impressive.

I've been playing Brink pretty religiously ever since the release and I have to say it's pretty good. It's normal for a bunch of people to hop on the forums and complain like little [censored]es, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion regardless of how [censored] it is. I'm just hoping for some DLC in the future to keep Brink up and running.

I have something close to 9 hours of gameplay in Brink already, and yeah, I think it is actually very nicely done. Granted, I haven't messed with MP yet because my internet connection has been really flaky lately (getting disconnected constantly is too annoying to deal with), but I am not experiencing ANY of these bugs that other people/critics are. The only problem was that I had to run DirectX to get my sound to work when I first played, but after that, nothing went wrong.
