Low FPS - Freezes upon Exit.

Post » Sat Apr 13, 2013 11:42 pm

Hello, well i have a Two problems with my game.

The first problem i have, is with the Light Sources, like the Lamps, Light Bulbs etc, if i look at them, my fps goes down from 60+ to 30-20.

( PS: I tried to post some screeshots, but, i just cant in this forums, its says i cant post Links, so, if someone cant tell me how, i will upload them gladly )

I have no texture/light overhaul mods, i only have: Reduced Dust Particles, Better Game Performance, No Blur On Hit, CASM, PipBoy Readius, Misc Item Icons and the Darnified UI.

I run the game in Low Settings, with no HDR, Bloom, Specular Lighting and Refraction Shader.

The game runs perfect, no CTD's, no Freezes when im playing, no bugs. Always 50-60+ FPS in Interiors, 20-40 In the Wasteland.

The only real problem with my FPS is the Light Sources.So i was wondering if theres a Command to fix that, or a mod maybe?

Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bits

Nvidia GeForce 7100, Integrated. ( I know what a piece of Shi* -_- )

Pentium Dual-Core CPU 2.50 GHz

3GB RAM

----------

The other Problem: The game freezes when i Exit the game, and i have to run the Task Manager and Kill the Fallout3 Process, theres no other way.

I've read that changing this comands in Fallout.ini could solve the problem, but, it still the same, i have tried with Disabling the Threaded AI, and Lowering/Raising the HWThreads, but nothing happens.

This are the current values:

bUseThreadedAI=1
iNumHWThreads=3

I use BOSS so its not a Mod Load Order problem.

Also, i use the FOSE and FoMM lastest versions, i dont use the Unofficial Patch as my game is an Spanish Version, I have ALL the official DLC's and the Lastest Official 1.7 Patch.

-----

So, i hope you guys can help me with this two problems, i would appreciate it so much. Thanks. :tops:

change to iNumHWThreads=2
And I have had that same issue with fallout freezing when exit.
Have you perhaps altered bMultiThreadAudio=0 to be bMultiThreadAudio=1?
I know that causes the game to freeze for me.

As for the light source I have not experienced any of that.
So can't help you there.
I know ccna knows quite a bit.
