I've recently bought a GTX 670 FTW as an upgrade to my 580 as I could only maintain a constant 60fps on low settings.

*Second Mission only Spoiler Alert*

However, I have now installed the game and I can barely get 60fps on Medium settings without AA. I am on the second mission "Welcome to the Jungle" and just when I go outdoors I am getting between 50-60 fps dips, causing horrible stuttering.

I have EVGA Precision installed and it automatically clocks to 1189mhz and I still get these bad frames. I am also only using 1.4gb of my 2gb vram.

The strange thing is that I am only using between 50-60% of my GPU. If it used 80-95% I would have the frames I wanted.

Here are my other specs;

Intel i5-2500k @ 4.2ghz
Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz 8GB (2x4GB)
Windows 8 64bit
314.07 drivers


I am shocked that I cannot even play medium settings smoothly without AA. I don't expect 60fps on Very High but c'mon I'm playing medium with a card that automatically overclocks faster than a 680.

Any help please?

I have the same problem with a gtx 680 but i did find something that fixed my problem a little and thats turning the texture quality to veryhigh. I know that seems weird but it did actually help.
