Low sec NEEDED LIKE EVE ONLINE..

Post » Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:31 am

The PVP area needs to be considered LOW SEC... where you can be looted... where you can lose everything you have on you.. there needs to be alliance controlled areas for mining of weapons and buildings... The care bars can stay in there zones of the story line.. Still a person of a different alliance should be able to enter high sec storyline areas for PVPing..looting and assassinations .... but they'll have to fight very high level guards and town people... They may even lose so much respect as to be attacked on sight even by there alliance.. be force to live out there days in PVP zone looking for loot.. coin... items of interest... Personal homes should be loot able .. there should be bounties.... personal homes should be able to be burn down or destroyed... so on so on

This should not be CARE BEAR LORD OF THE RINGS...

Everyone should have the options. To enter on a zone to be looted or not. Is not about supremacy, a single lag can make the almighty player lose his stuff. I'm all for options but not for just one way. I doubt you will put 200 ppl in pvp with loot rules. People feel bad already to leave PVE, then who will you fight, genius? The other 20 guys? Lots of people makes it more fun.

This. Want to feel tough? Join the Marines.

Some of us just like the story immersion and the ability to play cooperatively.

Well, putting aside whether this is good or bad, i can tell you why it will NEVER happen: Bethesda has put too much money into developing this game to limit the number of users by appealing to the minority over the majority. A low sec pvp system may be fun for some, but the majority of players will not want it, and it could make or break thier decision in buying/subscribing to this game. WoW became the most popular MMO because they made it easier to access and play, so appealing to the masses has become the norm for large titles, and they are already pressing their luck with an M rating.

You might want to look into Wizardry online if you like that sort of hardcoe playstyle. Probably the best MMO out there with permadeath.

Just looked at the video trailer on their site. Looks like an online free-for-all slaughter-fest. If that's what folks want for this game, I'd recommend against it.

Go play that game instead, since its already out and free to play (or free to "die" as the trailer brags).

People do keep trying to prove there are a lot of players who want this. It never seems to turn out that way when they make threads and polls. The people who actually bother to vote don't seem to want it, at any rate.
