Lucien Lachance

He came back in FO3, so why not Skyrim? What do you guys think?

Edit: As in Mr. Burke. (As in the voice actor playing a similar role.)

He came back in fallout 3? I assume you meant the voice actor?

What was his name again?

Don't you like it when I ask a million questions?

They'll probably use the voice actor again, but the character Lucien Lachance? He's dead, mate.

Yeah, but he was attractive. I would love to see him again. Mr. Burke didn't do it for me. though his voice was a bit nice to hear, I do miss him. Kinda that bad boy with a nice edge.

You mean the actual Lucien? Or his voice actor? I think he is fine as he is, a rotting corpse hanging in a cottage in the Cyrodiilic Mountains. Is there even a Dark Brotherhood chapter in Skyrim?
What do you mean by similar? Burke and Lachance were nothing alike. Burke was straight up evil, the Brotherhood were working for the greater good (atleast in my eyes)

I love Lucien Lachance. He was my favourite and most memorable character from Oblivion, because I met him on every single character I made, due to my favourite gameplay actions..you know...murder!
I was sad when he died.

I don't want him reincarnated though, but perhaps referenced (maybe by members of the Dark Brotherhood or in books) or a decendant of his to be in Skyrim.

I had more of a soft spot for Vicente and as he was a vampire he's probably got more of a chance, and didn't you see Lachance? he looked like a piece of meat that had gone twelve rounds with Rocky wearing knuckle dusters. It's subjective on if you did the dark brotherhood quest really as to if you think he had a chance of survival, but generally the devs are in the mindset that the player had done every quest line in the previous game to affect the lore/characters.

While I absolutely love La Chance. He is a very interesting character in Oblivion, it doesn't make sense for him to be resurrected. However that doesn't mean that they can't make a very similar character in Skyrim <3 :celebration:
Even better, make him a romance option :teehee:

@ facingpagetopleft Aww I had a soft spot for Vicente too. Damn, how come Darkbrother hood had more lovable characters, than any other guild?

He is dead. Proper dead. Nasty cockney gangsters in cheesy bad London accent film messed him up good dead. With extra claret.
So is M'aiq. And Dar-Ma. And the rest of them, probably even Carahil ( sniff ). Get over it, svck it up, life's too short for regret and all that.

Bring on the inhabitants of the next virtual world.

Lucien Lachance had a very sixy voice. At least I thought so.

Interestingly he was voiced by Wes Johnson who did also do the voice for Burke but I really did not see much resemblance in the voice he used for each. He did the voice for Fawkes and Uncle Leo in FO:3 as well. In Shivering Isles, he did the voice for Sheogorath and in Oblivion he did Imperial Males / Dremora / Arena Announcer / The Prophet/ Pelinal Whitestrak and The Grey Fox. In Morrowind he did several voices as well, for instance Malacath and male Orcs.

He's pretty good and a man of many voices. One of my favorite voice actors. I do hope to see him back for Skyrim.

Please no.
I hate Lucien.
He is the most annoying character I have ever encountered in TES. Seriously.
I prefer Fargoth AND the Adoring Fan over him...
I kill him every single time I meet him. I think it has something to do with his voice.
And the fact that he's a psychopath, and utterly demented.
I just...can't stand him.

Even if I play a Dark Brotherhood character, I pretend my character hates him too...

EDIT: My ire is in no way directed at the voice actor. It's all for Lucien.

He was the voice of every Imperial male in Oblivion. And Sheogorath. But you single him down to Lucien Lachance?

Well, Lucien won't be back, I imagine the voice actor probably will though.
