Luck and Loot

So actually, I learned that your luck in TES oblivion effected pretty much everything BUT what loot you randomly got from adventuring, which surprised me. Now I'm wondering whether this will change in Skyrim, which I hope it does. Should luck increase your chances of getting random higher quality loot?

Hmm not too much I hope... I always thought luck was a weird attribute... No for me, no influence on loot from luck.

By the way, maybe I've been slow, but is it still unconfirmed whether attributes are still in at all?

:o I dunno, I sort of took for granted that they'd still be in because I haven't read anything about them being removed. I do know that classes are removed now.

Hopefully they didnt get rid of attributes, that would be one of the dumbest things they could do. Luck should influence loot. I always thought it was pretty stupid how it didnt in Oblivion.

This. At the very least attributes should be in the background, still being used for damage calculations and various checks. But having Luck affect loot makes more sense than some of the other stuff it affected. Why not?
