OOC: Here're a few ideas:
The Tops Convention
Overall:
3 months after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. The Courier took the Independent Vegas Route and used the Securitron Army to drive both the NCR and Legion out of the Mojave. Lanius was killed, but Oliver was allowed to return to the NCR in disgrace.
NCR:
Oliver and Kimball became the disgrace of the NCR after returning from the failed Mojave campaign, and, after Oliver resigned, Colonel Hsu was promoted to the rank of General. He was already popular among both individual soldiers and Cheif Hanlon, and soon after his appointment as General, NCR military moral began to rise again.
Legion:
The Securitron Army attacked Legate's Camp and The Fort, driving the Legion out of the Mojave all together. This, along with the nuke hitting Dry Wells and Caesar's death, broke the back of the Legion, and soon multiple Centurions were warring with each other over who would be the next Caesar. After nearly a month and a half of fighting, a Senior Centurion known as Gordius led his Cohort to victory and appointed Lucius as the new Legate. Lucius opted not to lead the Legion, since he felt more comfortable with someone else making major political and military decisions. Vulpes remained the leader of the Frumentarii.
The Strip:
The Courier, already extremely popular on the Strip, was well accepted as its new leader. The White Gloves were turned away from cannibalism, and the Omertas' plot was foiled, leaving Cachino in charge of Gomorrah. The Tops newly appointed talent made them the envy of the Strip as they raked in profit from travelers wishing to see the various comedic, song, and dance performances at the Aces Theatre.
Freeside:
Immediatly following the Battle, riots broke out in Freeside as locals learned that the NCR was retreating and that their citizens could be attacked without military retaliation. The King tried to quell the violence, but many of his men were taking part in it, and it was too much for him to handle alone. When the Courier arrived with his Securitrons, they quickly applied lethal force to stop the violence, and, while many locals were killed, at least the violence stopped. Even though the Securitrons killed a few Kings, the King thanked the Courier for his actions, considering the deaths of the Kings members as accidents. The majority of those killed by the Securitrons were Freeside Thugs anyways, so the Courier's harsh actions helped Freeside in the long run.
Followers of the Apocalypse:
The Followers were friends of the Courier, and they were glad to him lead New Vegas. After the Freeside riots, the Old Mormon Fort was overwhelmed with injured and dying NCR squatters who victims of the initial violence, and they were again overwhelmed after the Securitrons opened fire on the thugs. Despite the Courier's setting up of a supply deal between them and the Garrets, the massive influx of injured Freesiders caused them to run out of medical supplies alarmingly quickly. They are in desperate need of a new supply deal.
Tell me what you guys think; I'll post ideas for the other factions if you want.
