Unknown-White Glove Society

*His voice is still hoarse and muffled under his mask*

Nelson seems like a good start. We don't have the funds to start up a large casino, so we would have to keep it small for now.

Sammy Rallo, Chairmen Rep.

* Due to a previous lack of news to the Chairman, he had dozed off, but the arrival of "CJ" had stirred him.*

"Now hold it right there, bub, there ain't gonna be a White Glove casino in Nelson on my watch, if one comes up, the Chairmen will abandon all support to Nelson and Novac."

"Besides, something like the Ultra-Luxe wouldn't jive with Nelson and it's consumers, ya digg?"

Major Connor-Boomers

Ah, yes. We blew them up. Don't be angry, we had a heavily armed group trespassing in a known dangerous area. You would of done the same thing.

More importantly: *Slams fist on table* WHAT IS THIS ABOUT TAKING PEOPLE'S WEAPONS?!?! Stealing weapons! *spits* Might as well take thier life! And now increasing prices on power for no reason? These other savages, no offense everybody else, are right about you being disgraceful raiders.

I'll say this isn't fashionable! We've started this meeting MONTHS AGO. Where the explosives were you?!

OOC: The Brotherhood has already agreed to stop raiding caravans and won't raise electrical rates.

James carbone - NCR

Head Paladin Ben Stone - Brotherhood of Steel

Head Paladin Stone steeples his hands and seems to be in deep concentration. His adviser leans down and whispers something into his ear. Stone's eyes open slowly and he nods toward the scribe. "Perhaps you could speak with the NCR on our behalf and get them to relinquish all of their units of salvaged power armor."

"Hah why should be relinquish anything too you? we aren't gettin any power from Helios one what we would get from it?"

"It doesn't matter anyway, we gave most of our suits to the Califorina BOS, they've repaired them and now being used in the 1st power armoured divison But seriously you should follow their example, like i said for other guy the Califorina BOS haven't been doing better since joining us, you should see some of the new tech they have Bulit.

Alice Swift - FoA Rep
Alice looked at Carbone with an astounded look. "James, what do you mean by "sent back into action"? You also sound like you are still waging a war. This is not the intention I had, when I mentioned to build a clinic at Cottonwood. Maybe it's time to re-think that position and look for a suitable building else where. The Followers are not interested in continuing your war, or anyone else's for that matter. We just want to provide care for the people of the Mojave. So, I think we shall look towards Nipton to establish the Southern Mojave Clinic," she said and crossed her arms. "This move might also cease your bickering with the Legion over Cottonwood. Really, grown man fighting like children over a toy. Didn't anyone teach you two how to share?" she added with a huff.

not wanting the legion to hear it, James wirtes a note and passes it to Alice

----

Sorry but It was more of a threat to the legion than anything. If they think we can Match their numbers and keep them up. The legion might not attack us, espically if they think there gonna get wiped out by our combined forces.

OOC: Oh. . ., I got confused, but the Boomers probably still wouldn't like the taking weapons thing.
Also I have to leave for quite a few hours.

Nelson is not the Chairmen's.

If your casino is as good as the Tops then you have no need to worry about competition.

Nelson only needs the support of a casino family. You are one of three of them.

I'm sorry to say but this offer is for any or every one of the families.

OOC: The Legion shall return in the next convention, for now we have left, you will have to decide whether the Legion has managed to take Cottonwood or not.

(Also since things are getting a bit more dangerous between the Legion and the other Factions I think I will bring in Azmond next time)

OOC: How about the Legion established a settlement across the river but they still want Cottonwood? They decided to just make the settlement as a war camp to prepare to attack Cottonwood Cove.

ooc: This but with an pervious legion attack on cottonwood pervented at the last movement by an logistic problem

although personally i think we should "reset" the Conventions back to start but with a new starting scenario that has the crouier Death (or Mr house winning, with House being an NPC force pereventing anyone gaining too much power)

OOC: You sure? According to Alice the Followers don't seem too keen on having Cottonwood anymore.

OOC: Here're a few ideas:

The Tops Convention

Overall:
3 months after the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. The Courier took the Independent Vegas Route and used the Securitron Army to drive both the NCR and Legion out of the Mojave. Lanius was killed, but Oliver was allowed to return to the NCR in disgrace.

NCR:
Oliver and Kimball became the disgrace of the NCR after returning from the failed Mojave campaign, and, after Oliver resigned, Colonel Hsu was promoted to the rank of General. He was already popular among both individual soldiers and Cheif Hanlon, and soon after his appointment as General, NCR military moral began to rise again.

Legion:
The Securitron Army attacked Legate's Camp and The Fort, driving the Legion out of the Mojave all together. This, along with the nuke hitting Dry Wells and Caesar's death, broke the back of the Legion, and soon multiple Centurions were warring with each other over who would be the next Caesar. After nearly a month and a half of fighting, a Senior Centurion known as Gordius led his Cohort to victory and appointed Lucius as the new Legate. Lucius opted not to lead the Legion, since he felt more comfortable with someone else making major political and military decisions. Vulpes remained the leader of the Frumentarii.

The Strip:
The Courier, already extremely popular on the Strip, was well accepted as its new leader. The White Gloves were turned away from cannibalism, and the Omertas' plot was foiled, leaving Cachino in charge of Gomorrah. The Tops newly appointed talent made them the envy of the Strip as they raked in profit from travelers wishing to see the various comedic, song, and dance performances at the Aces Theatre.

Freeside:
Immediatly following the Battle, riots broke out in Freeside as locals learned that the NCR was retreating and that their citizens could be attacked without military retaliation. The King tried to quell the violence, but many of his men were taking part in it, and it was too much for him to handle alone. When the Courier arrived with his Securitrons, they quickly applied lethal force to stop the violence, and, while many locals were killed, at least the violence stopped. Even though the Securitrons killed a few Kings, the King thanked the Courier for his actions, considering the deaths of the Kings members as accidents. The majority of those killed by the Securitrons were Freeside Thugs anyways, so the Courier's harsh actions helped Freeside in the long run.

Followers of the Apocalypse:
The Followers were friends of the Courier, and they were glad to him lead New Vegas. After the Freeside riots, the Old Mormon Fort was overwhelmed with injured and dying NCR squatters who victims of the initial violence, and they were again overwhelmed after the Securitrons opened fire on the thugs. Despite the Courier's setting up of a supply deal between them and the Garrets, the massive influx of injured Freesiders caused them to run out of medical supplies alarmingly quickly. They are in desperate need of a new supply deal.

Tell me what you guys think; I'll post ideas for the other factions if you want.

This would definitely give the Great khans more leverage and could make things more interesting.

I also like the idea Tycho. Maybe we could either start a new thread or use this one to get more ideas for all of the factions. That is if we aren't going to continue with this one.

That's because it's an Indy ending, and it's not going to change unless you try a different type of Victory.

OOC: Good news, my yearly community service is over (my highschool gives people a certain amount of hours that they have to help the city for), and my video project is nearly over, which means I'll probably have time for the Courier space if that isn't arguing against what you guys are trying for in the next convention.

Before we start we should see uf anyone wants to switch places, I for example wouldn't mind being the Gun runner instead of NCR :)

OOC: Thanks  No, I don't think the NCR should be nuked for the reason that the Strip relies on NCR tourists, and it would hurt the Strip's economy if the NCR's major route to Vegas was a hellscape.

That sounds good for the Great Khans.

Well, what other role could they play unless it was a Legion ending? If you have suggestions, then say them!

This thread seems kind of dead, so I think it's time for a new one (a reset one).

You have mandatory community service for your school too? Yeah, that's not doublethink or anything. :glare:

I guess the legion could have that But have it that the legion have only just retaken it, without the majority of the NCR army in the mojave (there's bound to be some stiil) they simply walked into and fortifiled the empty camp when the legion rebulid it's strenght and returned to the mojave ;) as none of other factions would have taken it.
