Lucky 38 Convention Part II

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 4:04 am

OOC: dont you have arizona+New Mexico+parts of Utah and Denver or something? (Wait, Denver is a town right?)

the legion has spilt up since Ceasars death, with thr Arizona state being the biggest, they porbably do still control lands in other states but they are not secure and 100% legion like before ;) other legates and Ceasar wannables are porbably trying to rally support in those states

Major Connors

*almost pleading*
"Can't we have both? We'll blow up enemies for you NCR if you let us."

Mr. Legion we want you to know that we will not hesitate to bomb your Fort if mr. Mayor asks it. However the rest of the Boomers believe we should not be held accountable for any bombing as it is just policy to unquestionably bomb targets our clients ask to be destroyed.

well thats seem like a good deal

"The Legion's previous deal with the Enclave has supplied more of our high ranking members with Energy Weapons".

Fantastic for you but I don't see them running on the battlefield laying down their lives for the Legion.

"The Legion are taking it. Do what you will."

If you attempt that then say good-bye to the Fort and all hopes of regaining power.

Take it and say good-bye to the Legion.

OOC: Got to go, be back in an hour.

Senior Paladin Garret Hartley - Brotherhood of Steel

The paladin returns just in time to hear Raynor's comment. "You don't know what you're talking about. We screen for tech before allowing the caravan to go on it's way!

"We could use the Brotherhood's assistance on a matter, if you are willing to listen we could make it VERY worth your while".

Raynor looked as if he was in a rage.
''Surely i dont care about the fascists that run around killing every [censored] [censored] that aint them, we are the ones that should be suppling people, not those propaganda filled patriots.''
He held his hand very close to his gun, as if he was gonna pull it, but then he calmed himself down and put his hand on the back of his head, in which his bodyguard handed him over a bottle of wine.

Major Connor-Boomers
I trust the Boomers.
They only bomb those who deserve it for either getting on their bad side or getting to close to their settlement.

*goes slightly red with embaressment*
"Listen kid, I like you okay, but I have to agree with the Legion about getting on our bad side, and I just mentioned our policy about mindlessly bombing a little bit ago. If someone not indespensible happens to be underneath us, well tough luck. To be honest its just an excuse to blow things up.

well thats seem like a good deal

I already have an idea of what your going to ask. So let me make myself perfectly clear, the Brotherhood would never consider working with you Legion mongrels despite whatever trouble with have with other Mojave inhabitants.

James Carbone - NCR

"The Legion are taking it. Do what you will."

Boomers, bomb the [censored] [censored] out of their fort. and I'll give you my vetibird

Raynor looked angry.
''Are you guys serious? Do none of you want to start buying energy weapons? You are letting criminals and isolationists run around shooting peaceful caravans suppling people with high tech energy weapons, but they are still allowed to carry them? We need to do something.''

the NCR would like to purchase enegry weapons, granted their porbably going to becoming from the NCR branch instead but troops in niption will new some also may i suggest a new route, by taking the goodsprings path you can bypast any Bos patrols that could attack any caravans

although Brotherhood, I do recommend you stop.

I agree.
How about the Brotherhood of Steel can keep their weapons and we will give them fresh food in exchange for them to stop attacking caravans. If they do then they are declaring war on the entire Mojave.
Raynor tried to smile, but he was too stressed.
''Yes, the BoS are a threat if they start going their old ways and raid tech from everyone.''

We have more Howitzers, and mini-nukes, missiles, grenades, and a freaking bomber. We raided 2 military armories full of regular and experimental weapons.
But we could not care less about politics: the NCR takes over? Meh. The Legion? Meh. We'll probably work for all of them. So tell me, do you really want to lose all that possible power? You are becoming dangerously close to becoming an enemy of the Boomers.

The New route should be secured by the next Convention takes roughly two days to get from here to NCR , you can however take a ride back on Vetibird with me after the convention to dicuss deals and such with then. For now their is a northen route, takes about a week that can get their supplies though.

OOC: Back early.

"We could use the Brotherhood's assistance on a matter, if you are willing to listen we could make it VERY worth your while".

What butcher and enslave them after you're done using them like the Twisted Hairs?

Where does the Legion stop exploiting and butchering?

Raynor looked as if he was in a rage.

Not yet, we might be able to convince the Legion not to commit suicide.

You don't have the firepower to do such a thing.

The Fort'll be ashes by the time you neanderthals figure out which side shoots outwards.

"I suppose that's what the Brotherhood does, throw away chances of claiming invaluable technology".

Sure.
The Khans have better tech than the Legion.

''Your crazy paladin. And no matter what, it is still counted as stealing, and if anyone attempts to steal or ''confiscate'' anything from us we fight back, as no official power does that to us, courier or NCR.''
He then smiled.
''Do it if you want, i dont give anything about one dead Brotherhood. It would justify my loss of caps in the past.''

ooc: i find it very unlikey the legion could do this, the Boomers are like a big family porbably with only 100 menbers Max, they would notice if someone was missing unlike the NCR who have 100,000 Soliders (atleast) in which case anyone could easy pose as solider and not easily get caught.

"One, you have already confessed you are willing to bomb our main fort in the Mojave without question, the Legion have also Infiltrated your ranks once may I remind you. We showed mercy then."

We would also bomb Vegas without question or the NCR, thats how our policy works, and you won't infiltrate us again we were just careless before. We've already caught 5 legion spies and used them to ferret out 8 more.
OOC: I don't think it would be possible to infiltrate the Boomers, they always seemed to be a close-knit society were everybody knows everybody, and I think thier xenophobia would help them find foreigners.

"The Legion are taking it. Do what you will."
The Lobotomite - Ambassador of Black Mountain

*Thus far being content with his acquisition of Quarry Junction Lobo was happy to simply sit back and watch the rest of the proceedings, but Kruser's statement about Cottonwood prompted a response.*

"I will remind you Kruser that there is still a squad of highly trained Nightkin in Arizona who I understand have been a great help to the Legion. If you continue making rash and aggressive actions against the United Mojave I will have a message sent to them from Black Mountain. If you forcefully take Cottonwood Cove, you will be declaring war upon the United Mojave. A squad of Nightkin can do a lot of damage that far into your territory.

I do not say this as a threat, but merely as a guarantee. These meetings are meant to be civil, a way to make peace between all of us. Wars are expensive, in material and in lives, taking Cottonwood Cove will be far more expensive for you then negotiating for it."

Really?
Still though there would only be a few guards and I'm sure if one was acting weird they'd be easily spotted.
