how much are you willing to pay for it? and will you also keep on the workers who are working there?

Well sir, we could give about 5,000 caps, and we will keep all the workers that remain there and pay them fairly, do we have a deal my friend?

James Turner- The Kings

*James lights up a cigarette as he considers Novac's request.

"What's in it for the Kings? Safe passage and business is lovely, but at the end of the day I'm still sending my boys off into the wild ol' Wasteland to help people that might just head straight through to the Strip. You're gonna have to add some incentive here friend, we ain't just a bunch of mercs for hire here."

Well how about free crops to make sure Freeside and the Kings don't have a food shortage.

Sammy Rallo, Chairmen Rep.

"Well then, shall we shake on the Nelson deal? If the Chairmen fund 100% of the casino and 20% of the housing, we take 80% of the casino profits and 45% of the housing profits."

*Extends hand to Novac rep.*

Shakes hand.

Very well. Oh and if you are willing to donate 35,000-40,000 caps we will be able to assist you with our military force if necessary.

Major Connors-Boomers

*The major loudly wakes up from his nap, shocking the others as he looked completely attentive, then listens as his aide tells him whats happened*

We could easily supply the explosives necessary for the tunnel, but what are you willing to offer us? Also, to all our trading partners: Your caravans our making us nervous and coming to close to Nellis.

Tell me a location you would rather the caravans go to.

We want to make sure not to cause any unease with our explosive loving friends.

James carbone - NCR

With the Tunnel Bulit explosives mechants from NCR can travel the Mojave and sell you bigger and more power explosives. Also once we have re-taken searchlight airport, we shall give the Boomers an airplane.

I though Searchlight would be in my territory.

Regardless I think the Boomers should be given more than one airplane. I say whichever onces are in good condition and are not being scraqed should go to them.

And I offerd you to take Ranger Station Charlie as an embassy and supply depot for the Great Khans as well as a shop in Novac in exchange for assisting us in keeping my territory secure. Especially Cottonwood Cove.

"Your terms are more than reasonable, and with great pride the Khans accept. To my associates in Primm and the Chairmen, I can now say that once we get this supply depot up we will be able to provide greater volumes of alcohol for your fine casinos. In addition I would like to formally extend an offer to all looking for trade. Over the past few months our mining industry has boomed and we've been producing a vast quantity of gem stones. While they may not sound important remember this, it only takes one wealthy elite to start a social craze. I suggest you take advantage of this."

*Looks directly into the eyes of the legionaire showing no fear*
They said the Legion was under new management. If this is true will they honor our solitary nature if they were to take over the Mojave? We understand that several high-ranking members were "intimidated" by our power, especially our bomber, and wanted to leave us be. Does the Legion still intend this if they win?

OOC: Ugh... I know, are you sure someone else shouldn't be Boomer represenative, or at least someone to take over? By the time I get here almost everyone is done for the day.
Also about your NCR endings are boring, I thought my idea could be pretty exciting IMO. I can just imagine the NCR represenative seething with rage and just barely controlling his anger while everyone else is nervous and trying to make amends while solving thier regular problems.

OOC: Trust me, you're fine.

If anyone's not posting enough, it's me, and that's because I have school during the week.

I'm even getting on the forums during lunchbreaks and etc to post.

OOC: Also sorry for not being very active in this convention thus far, I've been swamped with school and its hard to catch up once you've fallen behind. Case in point this topic was at like two pages last I checked, its now at five. ._. I will try to be more active as the weekend rolls 'round.

OOC: Sorry I haven't posted in the last 24 hours, I literally just got home a few minutes ago thanks to Confirmation and School. :( I've had a ton of schoolwork this week and I've barely had time to sleep (4 hrs a night is not good), so I apologize for my absence. I'll be able to really participate this weekend, including tomorrow night, so you'll see a lot more of Ulysses' wisdom when that time comes.
I'm even getting on the forums during lunchbreaks and etc to post.
Makes me wish I had a mobile device that doesn't require wifi (the school wifi blocks these forums). :swear: Anyways:

Ulysses

*Ulysses suddenly becomes more attentive after being lost in his ponderings for the last half hour.*

"If I may offer a word of advice, be careful when establishing a settlement near the River... many creatures -- dangerous creatures -- make their home along the river. I've walked the road to Cottonwood Cove; I've traveled up the River to the Fort, to Dry Wells, and every time I have encountered Deathclaws, Lakelurks, and Fire Geckos. Not saying you can't settle there... just be prepared to fight in order to keep it.

We are well armed but we have little experience with dealing with the wild life of that area.

Perhaps you could direct us on what areas are specifically dangerous and what aren't.

"We'd be more than happy to, clearing out the wildlife north of Goodsprings will provide us with a quicker route to Primm. Something which will benefit both of us in the long run. Captain Conners we will gladly accept your solar panels. They have proved useful thus far and have brought our Empire further into the new era."

"Yes, we have around thirty Khans present at Red Rock right now so in the event of a conflict with the critters we can help to come in from the opposite side trapping them. As for Cottonwood cove, with our embassy and depot we can provide around a 150 of our finest to help. Though it will take us at least six months to establish it."

I am sure we can have further business matters in the future.

OOC: The Legion and the Gun Runners have been making deals. Primm is selling their death row prisoners to the Legion as slaves and a Frumentarii is going to come to Novac to train special soldiers for my military called Hunters. Hunters are also recieving NCR Ranger training. Other than that nothing major with the Legion.

Goodnight.

"There's a promontory to the north of Cottonwood Cove, on the east side of the river, that has always been a nest of deathclaws. Stay away from it... worse than Quarry Junction ever was. To the South along the river, there is a cove full of Lakelurks. Other than that, Fire Geckos live along the shore, in the caves, anywhere they can go without being killed... so watch out for them."

OOC: Done for the night; goodnight everyone.

*After sitting quietly for most of the convention Mr. Kent stands up to talk

"I would like to make a proposal to a few factions, first of all we would like to open a deal with the gun runners to supply our ever growing militia. Also since WestSide is beginning to grow drastically as a farming community we are interested in making trade relations in many more communities around the mojave, if anyone is interested do say so. Also we are very interested in purchasing sharecropper farms from the NCR as it is an already established farm and would help in expanding our Co-Op.
Kent gets a briefcase handed over to him.
''Just a sample of what a relationship between us can do for your militia, we will discuss the details later i am guessing.''
As for your Offer I accept since I've aready been doing it, Only the top Brass of Gun runners and Parliment know of your Business with the legion, need less to say they weren't happy but i'm sure i can "conivced" them to accept you back, but let's not dicuss anymore details infront the legionaire....

The Gun runner are important to the NCR, you shall have my support.

(basically James will help you in exchange for your knowledge of legion bases, numbers and equipment in Arzionria and maybe a discount or some free weapons ....)
''Yes, i fully understand what has happened to your supply lines, also the reason why we were unable to contact the rest of our business back west, and you. We also lost alot on manufacturing your last shipment to you, when you suddenly bailed out of the Mojave.''
ooc: And just saying if the Legion catch gun runners doing such things they would either be made slaves or crucified
ooc: you dont know about James offer, and i do know about the risk. ;)
