"Very good, Novac and the Chairmen together. The Chairmen are willing to give 40% of the caps you need for the protection of Nelson, and we'll give you a low interest loan for the remaining 60%."

"That's fine, we don't need larger orders for now. But yes, those gems are quite something, how much are they?"

"The Legion with having the Fort would also require cottonwood cove for proper transport to the fort".

"The Legion and NCR although we wish it wasn't so still hold grudges against each other, the Frumentarii will not work aside the Rangers as to avoid injuries from either side".

"And may I remind you that now that we have controlled the Chaos in Arizona we have established a new 'Caesar' and a new Legate, you knew the legate as Azmond."

Alice Swift - FoA Rep


Alice nodded, while listening to the ongoing conversation. However, at this point, she couldn't help herself but had to inject:

"I know what you are trying to do and trust me, it is a noble cause. The Followers also want nothing more than all factions working together for the greater good of the Mojave. There are still a lot of people who suffer greatly. Who do not have access to fresh food and clean water. People who have known struggle all their lives. It is time that we, who are in a position to help others, finally do something."

She took a breath and with a side-long glance at Kruser, she continued. "However, when I tried to reach out to the Legion, try to involve them in the re-building effort, I learned my lesson. The Legion is still only interested in the Legion. Judging by some of the comments Kruser made, the Legion will never tolerate anyone else and will only strike deals if it profits the Legion. I wouldn't be surprised if their goals are still the same, absorbing any tribes that remain in Arizona and the surrounding area, to become strong again and then what? Challenge us all? Take over the Mojave?" Alice closed her eyes for a moment and inhaled deeply. For some reason, talk of or with the Legion always upset her.

She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear and looked calmly around the room. "I'm sorry for my outburst. All I'm saying is, keep your eyes open. Blind trust is never advisable."

Then she turned to Mr. Kent and James Cabrone.


"Well said. I was also hoping that we could expand our Co-Op and work together with the NCR. We do have actually quite a few people available, who can help out working the sharecroppers farms. The Followers will also gladly share some of the technologies we have developed together with Westside, in order to increase productions. Think about it James, it will be a win win situation for all of us. More food to feed the masses," she said with a smile.


"I think I speak for Mr. Kent, when I say that we could probably show you some farming secrets," Alice said with a wink. "Also, I am trying to understand what you are going to do with your lawbreakers. Are you going to pamper your death row inmates? Are you going to show mercy and release them back into society, so they can kill again? I'm not saying that slavery is the answer, oh no, not in the least, but I'm also a bit surprised to see you worried about the welfare of CRIMINALS," Alice said with raised eyebrows.

"Also, the Followers are already looking to convert Camp Golf into a Psychiatric Hospital, as I've mentioned before. I think it's more suitable for recuperation and rest for the ill, than to house prisoners, especially since it was a seaside resort at one point," she added.


"May I remind you that the Freeside and Westside Co-Op already produces enough food for that area? The Kings are certainly not suffering from a food shortage," Alice reminded the Mayor of Novac.


After that she addressed Kruser directly. "So, your 'friend' with the anger problem is your new Legate?" She simply nodded and looked at the others, as if to say, I told you so. "As for Cottonwood, we already discussed that it stays in Mojave hands. I'm sure you can find another spot further up the river that will serve your transportation purposes," Alice said and looked defiantly at the Frumentarii.

*Kruser shook his head at Alice

"The Legionaries fear him, as they did with Lanius, they understand that under his command failure is never an option".

"Cottonwood was Legion territory before the second battle of Hoover dam and I see no reason for any other faction to need or want an area so near the Legion you despise so much".

"So you are saying the Legion is even tougher now that Azmond is in charge? Then I don't see how we can ever reconcile our differences, now that you are back to the old ways," she said and felt any hope she may have had of working with the Legion slip away. "This changes things dramatically," she mused. "As for Cottonwood, I'm now more than ever determined that it is being kept in Mojave hands. We don't want any brutal Legionnaires across the river," she said and hoped that the other factions would support her sentiments.

"Westside would gladly enter in that partnership! The Co-Op is expanding quickly and is getting new members almost daily, it is my hope that soon outer vegas can become quite prosperous."

Raynor smiled over to Kent.
''Are you counting on us to supply you with guns then? We are the biggest investment you can spend your caps on, guns. Guns is what you need Mr.Kent. Let me know exactly how much.''

He then looked at Imam.
''Are you gonna accept our offer Mr.Imam? We would gladly open up trade with your people. You love guns right? who doesnt?'' He said with a smirk.

James Carbone - NCR


Searchlight was our city before the radiation, our dead still litter the town I respecfully reqeust we keep the town, once cleared I plan on having an memorial for the 200+ people who died from it. The airport will become the NCR army base for southern mojave opertations, if will be espically helpful if the legion decides to try something....

As from the planes my last report states there was three planes at the airport, Two in good condition whlist another had crashed into the run way. it was going to be one plane each and third was stirpped was parts.

a fourth plane is located nearby having crashed in desert during the Great war, the Boomers are welcome to it but it's most likey only useable for parts.


Deal although can I also request that 10% of food produced is sent to Niption.


Another reason why NCR should keep Searchlight. we can have troops and perhaps even a Vetibird covering Cottonwood cove and the river from legion attack. Command might even get some artillery set up at searchlight.

Raynor looks at James and laughs.
''Now James, i do see NCR′s interest in taking Vegas, but that isnt gonna happen and you know that, so why are you even trying to establish bases here? Not that i disagree with it, cause if someone would supply you then im sure you would come to me right.''

"When the road north of Goodsprings is cleared, maybe Goodsprings and Westside could engage in trade. Hell, Jakobstown despite its distance, could be a profitable trading outlet!"

The Courier-New Vegas

OOC: Sorry guys, I'm going to have to step down to White Glove Society.

I can't keep up with this thread, as too much is going on IRL for me to post often enough to hold up a large role.

Someone else, such as Sebor or Lobo, who can make time for it , can keep elongating this conventions.

When I get more time, (probably the Summer), I'll start posting some more House/NCR victory conventions.

Someone else can take the Courier's slot, or just remove the role completely. It's up to you guys.

(If someone else takes it, give it to someone who has experience with these conventions.)

Westside would love to trade with Goodsprings, since Goodsprings is now a major stop on the long 15 it would be great to get some nice products moving into Westside. Also with our Co-Op growing perhaps we could begin trading for some of the water Goodsprings produces.

James Turner - The Kings

"Our girl Swift has a point, the Westside CoOp is gonna keep the Kings fed for a good while. Now caps, caps would be grand. Now I'd hate to put a monetary value on human life, but I'd say 1000 caps per King is fair. Unless Ms. Swift's got a better idea."

Alice winked at James, "Glad to be of service, Jimmy. Now, I'm not sure if Novac has anything else to offer, really. So, I leave the rest of the negotiation up to you," she said and then turned again to Kent.


"Agreed. This looks really promising. We will soon have to develop some sort of transportation system, just to ship the crops to every corner of the Mojave," she said

She looked at James Cabrone from the NCR. "Of course we will supply Nipton with produce as well, James. Speaking of trade, I would love to trade water for food with Goodsprings, however there is still the transportation issue. Could we make a deal with one of the Caravan companies, perhaps?" Alice wondered out loud.

James Turner - The Kings

"Well then, since I've got the reins, here's my offer. 3000 caps in advance, and I'll have three of my most experienced shooters come down to Novac to personally make sure any travels to the big city and back go down as smooth as possible, then it's 1500 caps a month for our continued help. We get our caps, you and Vegas get your customers, everyone's happy. Sound good?"

Senior Paladin Garret Hartley - Brotherhood of Steel

The stoic paladin eases back in his seat trying to discern his peoples place amongst the major powers in the Mojave. After a while he begins strumming his fingers on the table wondering why Elder McNamara chose him for this assignment as diplomacy wasn't exactly one of his strong suites. He'd spent almost his entire life within the confines of the Hidden Valley bunker and now he is being asked to negotiate with factions he's never heard of before. The fact that he is being forced to interact with super mutants, Enclave personnel, and the hated NCR also didn't sit well with him. The primitive savages of Caesar's Legion were also quite troublesome.

Looking at the Paladin wearing heavy power armor, Raynor took this opportunity to talk.
''Excuse me Paladin, but my associates want to start dealing with energy weapons, but since we have lost a few caravans earlier to someone using energy weapons, we would like your guarantee that the Brotherhood wont gun for our future caravans. Im not saying your friends did it, but i want to be sure you wont bother us, im sure you understand.''

Riddle me this NCR dog, why shoul the NCR hold cottonwood and not the Legion? The Mojave has many enemies including the NCR, and are yousure your pathetic garrison of troops could hold against tthe power of the east? As soon as weretake the fort cottonwood shall become top priority

Senior Paladin Garret Hartley - Brotherhood of Steel

The paladin turns his power helmet toward the individual attempting to speak with him. "Elder McNamara has instructed our members to be on the lookout for any technology deemed unfit for civilians. If your caravans pass our territory we will seize any technology deemed unfit to be kept in civilian care! We also demand that the Van Graff's surrender all their energy weapons to us!

Imam the 2nd-The Khans

"Well the Khans will have to maintain a small force of thirty men to run the stills necessary for our Alcohol agreement with the Chairmen and Primm. Beyond that I could care less who occupies Red Rock Canyon so long as they do not interfere with us. As for our new embassy at Ranger Station Charlie I would like to offer 1,500 caps to whoever can construct a monument to the Khans and NCR who died at Bittersprings."

''I dont care what your elder instructed you, i want a peaceful agreement between us, so we can safely move our wares through the Mojave. We could also bring this to court, i mean high tech caravans attacked by energy weapons, who else then the Brotherhood could do that? Are we clear?''

Garret snorts derisively. "Well since you brought it up it could have been the Enclave, Van Graffs, or a well armed band of mercs! You have no way to prove that it was the Brotherhood who attacked caravans. Plus from what I've heard your organization deals exclusively in firearms not energy weapons."

*Kruser raises an eyebrow at the Power Armored fool, who did he think he was?

"Listen my friend, you think you can come from a hole in the ground, barge in here and think you make the rules? I think not."

*Kruser crossed his arms.
