So I've finally came to that point in the game where I want a place to settle down. Having so many items that even my followers are getting closed to getting over encumbered. The Lucky 38 penthouse seems like the ideal location for me, because that's where all of my followers are, and it's not too shabby of a place if I say so myself. But the thing is, is the storage there safe?

your companions can, on occasion pick up guns and other items. and some have been known to even dip into the crates and other storage drops. but as long as you dismiss your companions to their homes it should be fine.

Oh, I forgot that the companions live in the presidential suite. The part I'm talking about is where you meet Mr.House for the first time. If the storage down there is safe then I'm assuming it is up there as well?

The wardrobe to the right of the bed when you enter the bedroom is what I used, none of my companions ever stole from there.

Yes, all of the containers in the penthouse suite are safe. Even the oven and the refrigerator are too. I liked using that one after my companions kept eating all my decorations.

your companions will steal the food and eat it, so i advise agaist storing any food there if you want to use it later

the rest of the things the companions pick up can be retrieved from them......

We're talking about the Penthouse suite not the Presidential one. The Penthouse is the one with Mr. House in it and the awesome view.
