Lucky 38 Reloaded V4 and Project Nevada help

Post » Thu Apr 09, 2015 4:56 am

For some reason Project Nevada is preventing my game from running with the http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55540/?. I use MO and I made a test character to find the culprit. And every time I load up my game it crashes. I use Project Nevada + Support + Extra files and this is what I've found.

I've done some testing in Mod Organizer. And it's Project Nevada that's causing the crashing. It just won't play nice with the Lucky 38 home. I haven't the foggiest idea why. This is the set up I was testing. Every other mod worked. PN was giving me the problems.

Any Idea why this is giving me problems? I really like the home and would love to use it.

Have you tried moving the Lucky 38 mod to load after PN? Perhaps all the changes to the leveled lists PN makes are giving the sorters in the Lucky 38 mod fits.

Also, a Bashed Patch would probably resolve this with the current load order.

Have you ever checked out the Underwater Hideout Mod? Once I started using that, I stopped even going in the Lucky38 unless a quest sends me there.

I don't use Wryebash. But a Merge patch might help. I haven't tested that yet. But the Lucky 38 ESM also has a ESP variant and I've tested both in multiple locations. So I'll give the Patch a try and after that see if it's one of the support or extra PN plugins that are causing the issue.

Possible load order issue here. While Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp and Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp are flagged as master file, they still shouldn't be loaded before any .esm files. Also Project Nevada - All DLC.esp should be loaded after all the other PN files bar the MCM fix. Try the following load order:

FalloutNV.esm
DeadMoney.esm
HonestHearts.esm
OldWorldBlues.esm
LonesomeRoad.esm
GunRunnersArsenal.esm
ClassicPack.esm
MercenaryPack.esm
TribalPack.esm
CaravanPack.esm
Lucky38Suite_Reloaded.esm (if you use the .esm version)
Project Nevada - Core.esm
Project Nevada - Extra Options.esm
Project Nevada - Equipment.esm
Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp
Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp
Project Nevada - Rebalance Complete.esp
Project Nevada - Cyberware Additions.esp
Project Nevada - All DLC.esp
PNxEO MCMScriptFixes.esp
Lucky38Suite_Reloaded.esp (if you use the .esp version)

I was able to start New vegas with this load order. You may still also want to create a Merged Patch.
