Lucky Shades/Legion Fame

Post » Mon Sep 27, 2010 7:20 pm

Well the only way it seems to get access to the Lucky Shades/Caesar's Safehouse is to get a "liked" reputation with the Legion.

I've killed all the people in arena.
"Blew up" the bunker. I'm at the part where I'm told to kill Mr. House.
Did the Cold, Cold, Heart "quest"
Did the piece for the artillery quest.
Did the Vault 21 checking up with the Omerta thugs quest.
Did the blowing up of the monorail quest.

I'm still at "Accepted" and wouldn't mind to get "Liked" standing with them.

So, what's your question?

Render Unto Caesar is "destroying the bunker".
Tumor cannot be started until somewhere after killing Mr. House.
Last two are pretty much game concluding quests and cannot be started till later.

The other 4 quests section for CL, I already did 3.
The last one gives you quite a chunk of negative reputation with the NCR because the chances of me killing 4 officers in a stealthy manner with guns at level 13 seems impossible. <-Have not done this quest.

Murder or pick-pocket NCR soldiers for their dog tags.
Once that is done, turn them into the guy at cottonwood cove for some caps and Legion fame.
50 got me the liked Reputation in a second...

Don't really want to be vilified by the NCR.

Go get the C4 from the camp gaurdian caves and kill the ncr officers stealthily with that. You don't even have to go down through the whole cave ( might be a little tough at level 13) But you will have to kill about 4 giant radscorps. ( one at a time )

Really?
For dogtags, just follow NCR patrols around they should die sooner or later.
Or you could lead enemies to a NCR post.

Suggestion for a good patrol area?

Camp Guardian has a bunch of dead NCR soldiers, and Nipton has a few. Take theirs.

West of Camp Searchlight but they have 2 quest so that may not be the best.
Another one is around a Ranger Post Charlie, also go there and leave, then come back and there are a few dead rangers, you might have to go to Novac and talk to the ranger there and take his free quest (not sure if you have to or not).

Kill NCR soldier patrolling around Mccurran, I dump like 60 NCR dogtag to Aurelian to be liked.

But it is a shame that you can't wear Lucky Shades with rebreather.

In Cottonwood Cove : Just keep teaching Decanus Serverus how to neutralize NCR landmines, you will get 50 exp. points and rep. gain with the LEGION without damaging your NCR status, each time

During the dialog options with Serverus just keep asking about the NCR situation, then after his answer select other questions and the speech challenge will keep showing up (you need to have at least 50 points on your explosives skill

This was a glicth before the second patch on PS3.
