So there I was, walking north-west from Rorikstead, intending to visit the town of Karthwasten when I happened upon a little shack called Lund's Hut. After killing some Skeevers outside of the hut, I proceeded to go inside. Once inside, I was attacked by more Skeevers. After having a look, it's clear the hut hasn't been kept for a while - there are cobwebs everywhere. I find the body of Lund on his bed, dead.

I looked around for a diary, a note, some sort of explanation for the skeevers and the dead man. After finding nothing, I decided to give up and carry on my way. On a hunch, I opened a local map of the hut itself.

This is where I got confused. There seems to be a large network of caverns or tunnels underneath the hut. As in, I can see them on the map, but I don't know how to get to them. I spent a few minutes looking for a trap door or a secret switch, but I've found nothing.

So, fellow Skyrimers...has anyone been to this hut? If you know anything, I'd be grateful for any help on the matter. I can't help but think there's more to this. Or maybe I'm crazy.

I just found Lund's Hut myself. Same experience, I have no idea what to do with the stuff showing under the hut. But, I found a little altar-like structure at the end of the yard with offerings of flowers, food, and a silver ring on it. Possibly the burial site of Lund's better half? If so, this makes it a sad little tale of a guy killing himself with poison due to the grief over the loss of the love of his life.
