How so, I got Black Ops like 3 months or so after release adn I was not getting owned, just because you are higher level does not mean you are better

This is the way I see it. As good as the AI may be I'm pretty sure it still cant compare to playing against people in MP. That means that most people who are going to be playing on the PS3 will be forced to get XP in an easier fashion then if they just hopped into MP right off the bat (I was planning on playing achievement levels and the first mission in SP and then going str8 to MP). Since you can get XP from the SP without having to worry about better players, players taking ur objective XP, etc then It seems to me to be an easier route to lvl 20 then trying to do the same thing while playing against and with other real people. Also you don't have to worry about the other factors that go into MP games as well such as lag and host dropouts. Couple this with people who have the sheer determination and free time to get to lvl 20 ASAP and my guess is that we are going to see a bunch of lvl 20s (or at least many lvl 15+) as soon at the PSN is back up. Obviously if SONY gets its act together and gets the MP aspect of their network up then this will not be the case as much, but SONY has not left me with that impression so far.

Current estimates put the leveling to 20 at 15-20 hours in online or versus hard bots. I expect people to be level 20 by this weekend.

Black Ops and BRINK have very different leveling structures. I was not relating in the sense of skill, I was relating in the sense of weapon, build and overall accessory availability for someone who is going to wait to play when online is back up versus someone who will play the game tonight at midnight regardless of online play.

In Brink if you are a lower Rank, you won't play against higher rank foes(unless partying with a higher rank teammate).

Instead of getting owned, your more likely to have problems finding games.
