Thank you my friend...I have been here for quite sometime and have had yet to receive a true fishy stick...Thank you for your manners Mr. Nihi and may this message find you and yours well...
I am having a truly splendid night, though I must retire after this post, I wish you a restful sleep when you do seek respite.
I agree with this, but we should be able to have a sort of greater power (Once a week?) to turn into a wolf to get out of a bad situation. The uncontrolled transformation should be the most powerful though. The greater power transformation should be somewhat weaker but still useful. Otherwise, it would be pretty much useless to become a Lycanthrope in the first place.
Then I would urge a greater power like uncontrollable frenzy or like the Orks in Oblivion had the berserk (Don't know why the Nords, the true founders of berserk didn't) where the player could utilize an
adrenaline rush and increased strength (w/o transformation) to see themselves out of a hairy situation...

No, absolutely not, no control. If anything a small, permanent and always active boost to STR, STAM, and minor health recov boost.
No greater powers, no spells, no magic. This is a curse.. think of it more like corprus and less like falling into a vat of nuclear waste and emerging with super powers.
I expect a SEVERE weakness to silver weapons, im talking a quarter of a bar of health with a single swing.
It seems you all want being a lycan to be some kind of reward, ITS NOT. Becoming a lycan is supposed to make the game more of a challange, to force you to play in a different way. Lycanthropy is not magic, its a disease... and it sure as [CENSORED] isnt nanobots that you can control. Skyrim is rough and unforgiving, if you dont want to deal with lycanthropy as it would fit best into skyrim then dont be one, or mod yours in. But as i said before, your treating lycanthropy as though its some sort of blessing. In my opinion, any control over it.. any "greater powers" or even if lycanthropy made the gaem anything other than a challange it would be a failure on bethesda's part.
