Has anyone seen Lydia wear a helmet in a modded or non-modded game?

I'm finding that when she wears a helmet (made possible by my mod), her head inside the helmet disappears.

This doesn't happen when she wears a circlet.

And I've not seen other followers lose their head when wearing a helmet.

I can't tell if this problem is caused by my mod or is just inherent with Lydia.
