Post » Fri May 24, 2013 11:42 am

I have the late june 2012 macbook pro, specs are:

Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 512 MB

And I was wondering if skyrim will run fine on my macbook or if it wont.

It might run it possibly with medium settings.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:System_Requirements

HD 4000 is not listed there but HD 3000 is listed in the low/medium column.

You need to install Windows with the help of Boot Camp.

Your game will probably be very choppy unless you are on medium settings. In addition to that you probably won't be able to effectively run many of the really fun mods out there...which is why we play on PC

you'll have to dual boot.

Partition your HDD and install a Windows OS (I suggest Windows 7) on the second Partition.
