Machinima Respawn's Opinions on Brink

Post » Fri Jan 21, 2011 8:32 pm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRisoARnZqs&feature=feedu (one of my favourite Machinima series) has been put up on Machinima Respawn. Hutch, Fwiz, Justin, and OpTic J discuss Brink and raise some very good points on the team-oriented gameplay of Brink, and how it relates to the console community.

God is hutch ever funny in game on cod. As long as he doesn't diss the game, there'll be a lot of hutch followers purchasing the game. Good stuff anyway

Good discussion.No,it wasn't enough guys :P

The only thing is in the start when they say it comes 1 week earlier, they don't mention that it's release postponed TWO times before that,so...

Hell, if they listen to what this video is saying about not being a [censored] and playing as a team; there could be plenty of chance for this to be extremely successful on consoles and not just on the PC.

Cool, that's some in-game footage of the non-preorder automatic pistol at 5:33.

Good to see some high profile hype on this game. Plus I got to see some Tampa SMG footage. Most excellent.

Sounds like an overall very positive review.

Also that guy in the middle seems freakin psyched to play the game.

Yeah, but that footage is really old. ;)

Wow, this is the first REAL anything about BRINK I've seen on Machinima. Ever. Perhaps all of the hutch fans will flock to this game to maybe get the chance to play with him. That'd be great!

I was disappointed when SeaNanners said he didn't like Brink. Glad to see at least one of my two favorite machinima guys likes it.

I laughed so hard when literally everyone else in the room looked down at him with disgust and said that BRINK will be awesome.
And he was like "Well ... uh ... alright guys, but I don't like it. :shakehead: "

Hahaha, yeah. That's what you get for dissin' Brink, Nanners! :frog: No, but...he is still my favorite machinima dude.

Anyway, I think most of the machinima people like the game. At least the ones that have played it. Which is good, since it means more sales for Brink, even if those sales are largely from CoD fans, and the rest of us have to wait for them to adjust to a non-CoD game.

Haha I know.. Sadly it's very true. Gotta admit though, I do love me some SeaNanners

As crazy as it seems, I agree with you. A good portion of the console community worship these people.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood proves the "no teamwork on consoles" theory wrong.

For PS3 at least, I don't play on XBox, and most people I know only play with friends.

But I play team modes with randoms, and we often work REALLY well together (it's actually part of why my PSN friend list has gone from about 10 people to completely full since getting the game).

If you provide the right incentives for working together, and allow skilled team-players to DOMINATE people who don't treat the team mode as a team mode, then players WILL learn to work together.

I'll try to find it. He has that expression on his face that he has when he's not really into something; it's hilarious.

http://www.youtube.com/user/machinima#p/search/1/9rhYyRzeWHQ. 5:00-5:45. Everyone at Machinima likes Brink except for SeaNanners. Also facial expressions are golden xD

What are you talking about? The original release date was May 17th.. 7 days earlier, not 10.

Is this cleared?
