mad god's masque and belliconse ball

I was on TIL and I came across something called the "Mad God's Masque and Bellicose Ball" what is this about? i take its poems written by sheogorath but is there any importance? one poem really interests me below it seems to refer to vivic's trail.

Let's Put a God on Trial

to put the false god on trail
is reason, and not treason
but for mortals to judge the divine
even if on her my opinion divides
is the very heighest of madness
which I can unmake as it is made

Esteemed Serjo redmer the wise nord/elf,

I am of the opinion that the collected poetry was created by the dev we fondly refer to as "Tedders", who has always been the "real life" Sheogorath. His poetry is placed there out of respect for the Mad God Made Flesh Before Being Drawn.

I do not have any source to cite regarding my abovestated declaration, which opens up any proffer subject to being not only debated, but also flat out wrong.

I welcome the former and despise the latter.

Until then, I remain...

Yours in the Scrolls,

do you know if it was written before or afther the trial of vivic was written? and does the poem I mentioned earlyer refer to that trial?

If so do you think that it is possible sheogorath had something to do with the disapearance of vivic? just wild speculation

Molag Bal and Azura are the main candidates for having a hand in Vivec's disappearance, if you ignore the fact that it was supposedly Dagon's invasion (Dagon had little motive, and, besides, Vivec City wasn't attacked that harshly, although the moon apparently fell which would hint at Sheogorath's involvement).

Okay, so frankly most of the well-documented Daedra could have taken him :D

Muthseras and Esteemed Serjos,

It is unlikely that the Invisible Warrior-Poet Vvardenfell was taken by Daedric forces, or if he was, then it is unlikely that such is his final fate, for we have evidence that he, in fact, went to Aetherius after his Trial.

Witness http://www.imperial-library.info/obscure_text/5th_era_loveletter.shtml, wherein it states "the C0DA broke when Twice Vehk appeared again from Aether...".

This would show that Vivec is in Aetherius at some point in the 5th era. Thus do I disagree with the notion that Vivec's fate ends with him being in daedric clutches.

Not only for the aforesaid reasons, but also because it would be a petty way to deal with such a well-conceptualized character. It would just sting with let-down.

Further at this moment, this merchant sayeth not,

Most of it was a trading of tit for tat with the regulars here back in... oh 2005 done in character by Tedders. I forget my poem that sparked the one about yours truly, but suffice to say you're only witnessing half a conversation there and that's part of the joke.
