Madd Leveler Issue, need help

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 10:37 am

More specificaly im having an issue with "madd spell effects"

Its suposed to display fortifying effect icons in bottom right, when my attributes and skills go over 100 (like in beta morrowind) which is really cool

I run Madd leveler with these 4 esp
- Madd base
- Madd health
- Madd uncapper
- Madd spell effect

Everything was fine until my willpower went beyond 100. I get one effect per each willpower fortification, so it looks like this

Extra willpower - 4pts
Extra willpower - 2pts
Extra willpower - 7pts
Extra willpower - 1pt

instead of

Extra willpower - 14pts

So the effect meny in bottom right gets really LONG when i hover my cursor over it. Its anoying because it happens with my intelligence and endurance also. Any help? Peace.

PS Does anyone know whats Mugsy's username on these forums, i could ask him directly?

Welcome to the forums.

Are you using the Code Patch? If so, I've noticed numerous compatibility problems in my game, enough that I've stopped using Madd after many years, unfortunately. This has been discussed over the past two years since CodePatch has become popular. I don't think Madd Mugsy has been around for years.

Yeah it does that - sometimes casting "ML Reset" fixes it. I love Madd Leveler enough to just put up with it personally.

I tried removing items that give fortify effect, and then using ML_Restart and ML_Reset when naked , but the effect menu remains as above

As far as I know everyone has that issue with ML, it's just a glitch somewhere. Like I say, I just put up with it.

I'm ALMOST to the point that this may happen to me. I did a little tinkering with the scripts (for compatibility with BTB) and combined all the bits of ML into ONE .ESP for convenience. I doubt I changed anything that will act on this problem, but I'll post a note when one of my stats breaks 100 indicating whether I do (or not) have the same issue.

Rochndil, who can handle clean-up, but otherwise avoids scripting...

I've seen it, but never raised the characters' stats to the point where it became a real problem. Two or three entries instead of one is a bit odd, but not "broken". I can see how it would start to turn into a problem later, though.

Ok thanks !

Yeah it is not game breaking, and it doesnt break my char... 2-3 entries is ok, but now i have like 12-13 and it annoys the hell out of me
