no way, Mikael Persbrandt.. no way, no F******* way, he's totally lame and I would never "get into" the game if he was a voice actor. yes I'm swedish and he plays a "bad cop" in a swedish multi-episode-movie called Beck.. he's svck a "memorable" character with a really "odd" voice and character that I would just.. never feel right, lol.
He may have been suggested before but I wouldn't mind seeing Swedish actor Peter Stormare doing some voice acting on Skyrim. I loved his monologues as Isair in Icewind Dale 2.
But no, Mads Mikkelsen needs to work on his english even more if he is to do voice acting in any game/show.
I haven't heard him since Casino Royale, and from there it probably ought to improve yes... Although it might actually be charming if his english is a little "too scandinavian" seeing as he will play a Nord (most likely anyway).
We need more Danes in american pop culture. Who isn't a little proud when they make references to Denmark in series like the Simpsons. And of all the danish actors they could pick, Mads Mikkelsen might not even be a bad choice. He is certainly better than most danish actors... though that dosn't really says a lot. Most of them stinks.
Mads Mikkelsen is an amazing actor. Probably the best one ever to come out of Denmark. (Though actors like Dirk Passer and Ove Sprog?e overshadow him a bit, it seems; but they are cultural heroes [some would say]).
