has anyone noticed how the trees look...........do they look like oblivions or handplaced? are there in game shadows of objects like trees and buildings etc? god-rays......anything?
They look randomly placed but not like Obi a lot more variety in the models and and from the looks of the pics I would say that the trees were placed in the region if they belong there (sort of how you had snowy trees in bruma) but again whith ALOT more variety
They should at least have given us a (toggelable) hardcoe mode, that replaces Fast Travel with Transport by boats and stuff, and mark/recall spells. And perhaps to more map markers
Someone's been on the forums only very recently I can see. I don't want to write a book, but the problem is bigger than just the ability to fast travel, there's quite some implications to this, one of them being that we might not want to always walk, we may want a travelling system, so the game is more immersive.
No but seriously Most games have dynamic shadows, and they look really pretty. From what I know technology has advanced to be able to make it much less of a performance-hit as well than it was 5 years ago.
Looking at the pic of the giant spider, it looks like it has soft shadows indeed...
