From the sounds of it, there are lots of dragons, not just one.

Also does it say 20 races? My magazine is a bit blurry but that's how I'm reading it.

AI includes the ability to drop a weapon and have characters pick it up, and try to return it to you, or even fight over it.

[censored] hell, seems like Bethesda's dumbing down the RPG once again in favour of action mechanics... :violin:

Reading about something that sounds EXACTLY like the "RAI" from Oblivion. In the example, you drop a claymore in the middle of a town and three examples are given:
A young boy asks if you dropped it.
It lays forgotten.
Two tough men fight over it.

So there are no classes in the game? Does this mean you can be awesome at everything?

yeah adding choosable perks and an extra hand to attack with for special combos is clearly dumbing down RPG elements

hmm, no magazine here but I am thinking there would only be 18 skills if there was an attribute that was cut.

So there is either more that we do not know or a system that was revamped.

time will tell.

Posting more info instead of trying to make people believe Im telling the truth.

- If you kill shopkeeper, his sister might enherit the shop. She might give you quests but will be angry and frustrated about it. (Sounds really stupid to me...)

You can duel with npc's

If you drop an item an npc could pick it up and walk up to you and offer it back saying that you dropped it (cool!)

Or 2 people could fight over it (double cool)

game has HUGE log of how you play, dungeons you go to etc and gives you experiences based on that.

Usually the graphics turn out to be even worse than what's shown in previews and such. Remember that old Oblivion preview with dynamic shadows?

lol

Don't go shattering my hopes. Don't get me wrong, the graphics don't look bad by an stretch of the imagination, they just look...normal, whereas I was expecting non-filtered massive landscape panoramas of Crysis quality to be demoed.

It seems that Bethesda didn't want to show that angle of it off though strangely, which is a little confusing considering I always regarded Oblivion as the pinnacle of open-world graphics back in 2006 or so. Seems they are focusing more on the gameplay and story in Game Informer than on the graphics which is a little worrying (to me...I am sure others appreciate this angle). So long as they allow better settings for PCs and allow modders the possibilities to more easily overhaul the graphics and other features though, I will remain extremely interested,

18 skills? Really, this cant be true. If it is you’ve almost killed any enthusiasm for this game. I cant believe the devs would remove yet more skills. It just doesn’t make sense.

According to the article, each event of the every other Elder Scrolls game has been one step closer to the return of the dragons. The final sign was the Civil War in Skyrim. Also, it seems that the Septim emperors were merely one line of "Dragonborn", and that others (including yourself) have the ability to light the Dragonfires in the Temple of the One.

How have they dumbed down RPG mechanics? Duel wielding? 18 skills? Perks? Shiny graphics? Okay, I could understand being upset about a lower amount of skills but we still have them. We also know NOTHING about them. I also don't see how the other new bits of info say it's been dumbed down.

I guess the only real RPG will be pen and paper.
