Reading about something that sounds EXACTLY like the "RAI" from Oblivion. In the example, you drop a claymore in the middle of a town and three examples are given:
A young boy asks if you dropped it.
It lays forgotten.
Two tough men fight over it.

This is truth :)

The information is true; I uncovered the information through my search-jiujitsu's skills. There do not seem to be that many straight facts about the game besides the information on the combat system. The graphics look beautiful; I know twenty people already said that, but I just wanted to echo it.

bern is the hero's mentor of sorts. Voiced by max von syndow from minority report and shutter island. ( I have no idea who that is. )

That voice actor you were wondering about, Max Von Syndow, plays the German scientist on Shutter Island. Leonardo DiCaprio's character and him have a confrontation in the old general's quarters.

So there are no classes in the game? Does this mean you can be awesome at everything?

I suppose you have to specialize anyway. So all skills count toward levelling, that it ?

yeah adding choosable perks and an extra hand to attack with for special combos is clearly dumbing down RPG elements

Those are not RPG elements. In case you haven't read it, there's EIGHTEEN skills and attributes seems to have a lesser importance. There's no major or minor skills either, Morrowind had also the miscellaneous ones...

I was reading about the Dragons. One thing that really intrested me....they will attack cities... By my guess this means Open-Cities instead of CLosed.

They traded 3 skills for an extra layer of customization (choosable perks) and an extra layer of combat (extra weapon/spell slot for special combos)

I like the trade.

Would be crazy if spears weren't back...

Ah damn. Yeah I can pretty much confirm what these men are saying. I don't know if everything they've said it true but dual-wielding is a go, you can't back up as fast, five schools of magic now. I'm kinda depressed.

I'm glad to hear that Perks made the transition. I was expecting them to, as they are a great way to give the player real character defining choices at every level.

It also seems some folks are saying that numerical stats (Strength, Personality, etc) have been replaced by basic Health, Stamina and Magicka stats. I can't confirm that, mind you. Hearing that Perks are in is already a point in the game's favor IMHO.

Mountains look quite nice and the description of different terrain types and a tundra area where you can see the mountains in the distance sounds really beautiful!
