Magazine attachments on Shotguns?

Post » Mon Dec 27, 2010 4:14 pm

Pistols can get extended magazines.
Rifles can get extended magazines.
Even Machine guns and Miniguns would probably get extended magazines.

Is there any word on extended magazines for shotguns?

The heavy shotgun has magazines, albeit rather strange looking ones, but the medium shotgun appears to be manually loaded, so I'm not sure how they'll handle mag attachments for it. I certainly hope it gets plenty of options, just like the other guns. I love my shotguns, and I want to pimp them out as much as possible.

Like real life, shotguns can have extended tubes to hold more shells.

Thre Mossington, specifically. Up until now, I was not aware you could extend a shotgun's tube magazine, but I guess you learn something new every day.

If you go looking around in gun catalogues, you'll learn stuff about them.

This.

I'm hoping for some kind of speed loader myself, but I wouldn't say no to the shotgun version of extended mags either. I just wonder how it'll work. Shotguns get shafted attachment-wise in too many games.

ok the mossington shotgun will prob. have en extended tube.
the other shotgun i have no clue how their gonna do it. if it is magazine fed then it can just have extended/drum mags. but if its like the real world counterpart, which actually has i think four or six tubes on the underside of the gun that can be rotated into place for a quick reloadish kinda thing, then i dont know what they could do

meh. molotovs. in my opinion the only thing worse than a zombie is a zombie on fire. have you ever tried to use the flamethrower on high level zombies in waw. never ends well

Stole my zombie plan. It's quiet, deadly, and won't run out of ammo. Great tool.

I'd rather have something far more concussive if I'm going to use a weapon that isn't a gun/ranged weapon or a sword/melee weapon. A regular frag grenade or other explosive that just rips them apart or knocks them down or back would be best, I think.

when you have enough shotgun shells that there is no way youll run out (like my family) you dont really have to worry. and if it comes to it. i got a razor sharp KA BAR for backup.

Ever thrown a molotov in real life?

They're more concussive force than incendiary. But they're not particularly great at either, to be honest.

The manual loading shotguns can have the side-shell holders which will affect the speed of reloading.
Automatic shotguns have magazines.

:3 That's an idea.
