You cast the spell dead thrall?
I'm on PC. I modded Dead Thrall so that it works on creatures too.
As it should have.
Dead Thrall only works on NPCs in vanilla.
Okay. I really need to fire up the CK it seems.
Should be easy. Just find the magic effect Dead thrall uses. Then there should be a visible NPC only condition or something somewhere[first thing I modded so long ago, so I don't remember exactly over the top of my head.]
That's to complicated. No one would play the game otherwise.
I was trolling. No seriously I hear some of the dumbest arguments on gamesas forums.
And gave up trying to respond intellgibly any more.
Especially when people tell me, that I have to use my Imagination with a game with obvious flaws.
I hear you.
Seems more like a "balance" concern to me. Yet Beth goes on and makes Smithing/Enchanting/Alchemy loop. Oh Beth...
Anyway, I will give credit where credit is due. This was the first time Beth actually did "necromancy" for the players. I'm confidant this is just the rough draft so-to-speak. Maybe I'm being hopeful, but for everything conjuration lost[variety] they also added necromancy and permanent summoning.[atronachs at least] So I have reasonable hope.
@Hevnoraak
I think I found the right effect, but now what? I assume it has something to do with "target conditions" and the "haskeyword" thing?

Also, what exactly did you do with the automaton resistances? Just a 33% weakness to frost? What about fire, since they're metal?
Yes, that keyword: ActorTypeNPC, just delete it, and you're set.
You may also want to remove the: WiSpellDangerous keyword at the bottom. In fact, do that with every reanimate spell and summon spell. Because with it, any elemetal cloak you cast will dispel your summon/zombie. The only side-effect is that people will not comment on your zombie. Your personal preference though.
I only added the 33% weakness. They're Dwemeri metal and they seem quite heat resistant.
Ok thanks. I think I'll pass on that (the WiSpellDangerous thing) because I cba editing every single reanimate/summon spell just for the cloak spells not to dispell my summons. Seeing how rare I actually use cloak spells. When I'm a mage, I avoid getting hit so cloaks as useless there and when I'm a meleer, I tend to use as little magic as possible so they're useless there as well. I don't do hybrids like battlemages/spellswords.
A sorceress, my twist on a mage, is the only way I go. I love playing as a sorceress. My gal(s) are pure mages and only wear robes in the beginning, and then cloth robes that she enchants herself. She make her own potions and grows her own ingredients. She needs no companions or followers, for she uses conjuration to summon helpers. My gal is also very sneaky.
