Hey guys,

So i have come to a stop in this game skyrim, i just started playing a few days ago and reached a point where i have to pick dawnguard or the vampires.

I am a female nord mage leaning towards making it a one handed caster with lots of shield abilitys to fight in close combat. Would having the vampire transformation aid me in this along with the side effects? I know as a mage having enchanted robes for magic will help me on that side along with healing myself but with no stamana will that be an issue? and how hard or tiring is it to feed on people? and the bad effects of sun?

Would becoming a werewolf be better over all? because of my build?

Any help or ideas? i enjoy my mage/shild build
