Question for you guys, is it possible to enchant a mages staff with both damage and a 1 second soul trap? I don't want to have to cast soul trap on all my enemies right before I use my staff, but I do want the ability to just trap their souls.

You can't enchant staves. Well, maybe on the PC, with a mod. If you are in ref to THE mages staff, that you get from the mages questline. Then that staff is only a choice of a few. They are preset in-game, and leveled to the character.

I think that there was one staff that could be enchanted, but that was due to a glitch and fixed in a patch. I may have that confused with another game.

but its not a on target spell like others, its on strike.
