I was just looking over your character, and was wondering what the muffle was for. Are you a stealth-mage, or maybe you use conjured bow for sneak attacks? I was just wondering because i'm getting a little bored with the repetitiveness of the mage. All I do now is either dual cast fireballs or summon a dremora lord and use conjured bow for a support archer type of role, so I would love to know any ideas about improving it.
I am glad you asked

I don't play a sneak mage, actually. What muffle does for me is allows me to maneuver around without drawing attention in general; the enemies in dungeons don't hear me walking and therefore don't know I'm coming. I can get the drop on sleeping bandits, for example. I also often get the surprise on such enemies as Falmer. Many, many occasions where walking silently has been great, even without sneaking. When indoors, not being heard gives you a huge advantage whether you sneak or not. Since magic, for me, doesn't require any sort of "sneak skill" use, merely walking up while
-paying attention to the enemies- does the trick.
Edit: in addition, using the variety of spells you have intelligently and creatively helps a good deal in having fun. I tend to use frost by default against enemies that don't resist it, I use fire to ignite enemies
(they take more damage from everything when burning) or fight undead, paralyze for crowd control, LIGHTNING STORM to mow down distant mobs or paired with storm atronaches against dragons because we smite them whether they fly or not. I have found many uses for the more than 80 spells we have.
