Magic scaling

Post » Fri Dec 02, 2011 5:20 pm

Hey guys.

I've seen a few people saying that it doesn't scale.

I'm not a mage, but I do use some destruction magic as a supplement. (instead of shield)
I've just noticed that the damage has increased from 8 per second to 10 per second. Granted this isn't a major leap, but I was under the impression it doesn't level with you?

it went to 10 cuz of the 25% damage perk you got. It can go up to 12 damage with the 50% perk but it doesn't scale with your level.

warriors can get 100% damage perk, weapon scales, and can be enchanted/smithed to do more damage.

Fair enough, But I don't have the perk for the Frost bite spell yet its also just as strong??

Never understood why they do the same damage yet anything other then fire needs more Magika.

The other two damage the other two stats. Frost deals Health and Stamina damage, Shock deals Health and Magicka damage. Fire's cheap because it only deals Health. Not that you're likely to notice the difference until you get a lot of magicka.

end this thread please, this debate has been closed about 3 times already. Facts are facts, it's exhausting to have to restate them each and every time a thread is created denying the facts.

lol, only "facts" that have been put forward are rants.
I've seen just as many people say they've used the destruction magic fine as I have people who can't.
