Magic Specifics

Ok so it said somewhere that with a fireball spell you could hold the button down and cast a line of fire or something like that. Which is awesome, ok now we hear that when you cast a fireball spell with both hands at once you get a bigger version of that spell. So my question is, well what if you hold down both buttons, do you get a bigger flamethrower like effect? What if you hold down one button and just click the button? I'm curious as to how that will work

Ah well I assume that other people here are following the news more closely, I was out of it for a few days, my usual internet time was allocated to portal 2

To me it seems that the spell system is different from the one we heard about in the first interview.

I don't think you can do four different things with a fire spell anymore, maybe charging them remained, but we can combine two same or different spells into one bigger spell. Now I just wonder if all spells are going to be comboable, because it doesn't seem like it...

Nothing that substantive will be revealed from now until E3. I'm curious about the mechanics too though. There's quite a few button combinations, so hopefully we'll find out more at E3.
