So i am thinking of a different spec after my experience as archery+1h+sneak as kitty. I like sneaking and 30xbackstab bonus, but can't say i like throwing arrows. I am also a fan of magic. So anyone tried a sneaky mage in master difficulty? How did it go in high levels?

I am planning; Dark elf, with sneak+1h+Destro as main specs and light armor+conjuration offspecs. Killing whatever i can before i am spotted, and than blasting enemies down with destro combined with conjured helpers.


Another question is pure mlee characters. How do you guys handle big guys like dragons, dragon word protecting draugts? I tried a 2h orc with heavy armor+2h, but in first serious enemy they bashed me down before i take them down to %50. You switch to ranged when facing such enemies?

yeah im a sneak mage myself. Conjuration + Archery + Illusion. I have no perks in sneak passed the x3 bow dmg, Invis works fine for me heh. That being said you cant conjure daggers, so a dagger sneak build has little to no point going into magic perks...

As for the melee, my first toon also was 2h orc w/ heavies (scrapped it when I overpowered it by mistake). Just pop Berserk when you are facing one of those WTF ennemies and /lol at them ;P

I'm playing on master as a breton thief/mage and Illusion is working out pretty well.

I had an idea for a sneak mage using runes, haven't got round to it yet though. <_<
