is it me or does your magic and stamina regenerate more slowly while in combat? but while roaming freely no combat, it flies up regenerating. i am wearing necromancer robes that make magic regenerate 75% fast but it doesnt seem to affect it in combat?

Yah I've noticed this too. I also carry around a necro robe and if I empty my bar out of cmb and toss the robe on it does go up alot faster than while in cmb. However I've tested it quite a few times just to make sure I wasn't going crazy but it does affect the in cmb regen as well just much much less so than out of cmb. I also have a +40% helm and a +25% necklace so all 3 combined made a noticeable differance on/off while in cmb its just ALOT more noticeable outside of cmb.

Complete the mage (college of winterhold) quest line and you'll be just fine.
