Magicka Regeneration During Combat... WTF!

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 10:34 pm

I bet others have noticed this also, that during combat magicka regenerates a heck of allot slower. It personally bothers me that i have about 425% faster magicka regeneration and it doesn't take full effect during combat. It makes me not want to use magic at all now. Unless they did this on purpose to make the game more realistic but... I don't think that in real life your magicka would regenerate slower during combat either! So please Bethesda fix this or give a good explanation for this non sense, heresy, catastrophe, anything that you want to call it. Skyrim is the greatest game... but it would become even better if you fix this issue in your next update. I know tons of pure mage or mage warriors or anyone else that use magic agree with me on this.

Yeah regen items are pretty useless, have to go with cost reduction to be viable instead.

Lower your weapon and it will recharge much faster.

That counts as exiting combat.

Wait, what?

Anyways I wish magicka would regenerate when using staves. Would be the only time I ever used a staff in these games.

If you are on a PC go to nexus and fix it now. It is actualy not 4x faster. I think it is 2xish faster, could be wrong.

Yeah whomever thought of adding a bonus to regen magicka that doesnt work in combat is a moron. And whomever's idea it was to cap it at 33% regen in combat in the first place is a moron. Mana is not stamina, mana is absolutely required by a mage to fight where as a warrior can still hack n slash with no stamina.

Thanks for the tip, I've done that before but it didn't occur to me that it was regenerating faster
