I'm in the quest where I need to find an elder scroll right after I met paralaxx. My only nav point points to the Orc in the library of the mages hall. When I talk to him, he has no dialogue options at all relating to my quest. My quest says I can also talk to that B guy that Delphine is with. But he says nothing.


I'd love a command I could type in console to advance the quest forward to some point.

Anyway, I don't have any console commands for you but you should be able to continue that quest by talking to Septimus Signus,http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Septimus_Signus. Or just go and get the Elder Scroll from Alftland without asking for directions.

Quest stages should be at bottom. Can't remember the command though. Uesp.net has a section for that to, search for "setstage".

Did you already talk to the Orc in the mage's library at Winterhold about the quest? if so, you may need to read one of the books he layed out on his counter for you to read
