Hey folks,

I'm up to the Fallen quest where you call the dragon at Dragonreach. I get him to land and lure him right into the trap. Except I don't get any credit for capturing him and he just sits there. Anyone encounter this? So frustrated. Think I might purge Whiterun ><

same thing is happening to me! tryed everything hope this gets patched soon as i cant progress along the quest because of this

This has happened to me too the game is completely broken.

I'm not sure if you guys had the same thing happen as me as I think I know what caused it.


I did the stormcloak quests and at the point where you're meant to accept the Whiterun jarl's surrender it bugged and the quest couldn't complete. The new jarl is meant to appear. I continued on and it just said I failed that quest but the stormcloak quests were able to be continued.

what i think happens is the new Jarl stays in place in jorvaskr and the game doesn't recognise his new position on the throne. He is meant to accompany you from the throne to capture the dragon but as he never leaves jorvaskr he can't accompany you. this breaks the quest and it never credits the capture of the dragon as it needs the Jarl to be there.

I have put many hours into a game I am unable to complete.
