The Oblivion MQ reward was a suit of enchanted armor. It really wasn't that great though unless you were playing a low level game. Many people consider the Sigils from oblivion gates to be better rewards since they gave semi-unique effects that could be stronger than normal enchantments. What could the reward be this time around?
Apologies if a similar thread exists.
Edit: Added a Statue choice since it seems popular.
I just hope the reward is good. Azura's ring svcked. The Dragon armor in OB was really good in terms of DP, but the enchantments weren't good. I think armor and weapons don't make good rewards even though there cool because there's a chance you aren't skilled in that item. Something everyone can use would be the best.
how about...an entire country? after all the kings dead and you kind of did just save the entire world from the wrath of a god who simply got bored with nirn
The rewards that makes sense for all types of players is a building, or a unique dragon shout. I picked a building for all the items I plan on collecting.
That I wouldn't mind. As long as it's more detailed...unlike your statue in Bruma in OB that looked like it was made out of wet clay and shot up with arrows. And possibly put it in a museum if there is a museum in Skyrim. Also a plaque to go along with it.
o and I plan to explore the game thoroughly and do every quest, but I think that every game has to have an ending because otherwise it kills my immersion
Ok I'm getting sick of people saying a game element is a bad idea because the same element was in Fable. Just because Fable is bad doesn't mean that everyone of it's elements is doomed to hell forever. Fable had NPC's in it you know, maybe Skryim shouldn't have NPC's. It also had swords, I guess TES shouldn't have swords then either.

What element unique to Fable did Fable have that was any good? Aging...Permanent Scars...A Dog....yeah I don't see anything
A building as a reward would be nice. Maybe somethings like Frostcrag Spire where you had your alchemy lab with all kinds of plants growing, bedroom, enhancement and spellmaking machine
<>The ultimate weapon should be found through exploration in a very difficult dungeon. <>Armor is nice and all, but sort of short lived once mods start producing armor that easily replaces it. Then it feels like you get nothing special at the end of the game. <>A new dragon shout unique to the end of the game would definitely be pretty cool. Sort of a badge of honor to cary with my character as I focus on embarking on player made adventures from then on. <>Special Mount: Interesting. But it would have to be something amazing, like a flaming horse to really make me feel like I had earned something. <>Special building or fortress: This is probably my favorite idea. I could see all kinds of mods augmenting it, adding extra rooms and stuff. That and a roof to call your own has always been fun in the elder scrolls games. Still, I hope that you can purchase other homes as well. <>Statue: ...Cool...
