Main Quest Timed?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:06 am

I have recieved a vision from Arroyo imploring me to hurry up in my search for the G.E.C.K.

This unsettles me greatly, because in Fallout 1 the quest for the waterchip was timed. Now there is evidence that it may be so for Vault 13. Is the search for the G.E.C.K. in Fallout 2 a forced timed quest that threatens to end the game with a failure?

Its not really timed per se,
Spoiler
but the time is how long till the Enclave comes and kidnaps your village, either way when you beat the game and save your village it ends good.

No those visions are to give you a sense of urgency.. There is a timer for certain things, but you can take as long as you need to complete the main quest, but the older you get the more you start to lose skill points.

Quit starting threads if you are not going to respond to them....

There is a time limit to the game, but its something crazy like 13 years. You almost certainly wont hit it., never heard anyone who has (unintentionally)
