Upon entering Diamond City, the guard shoots & continues shooting Kyle. Everyone just stands around.

I have tried changing location / fast travelling / waiting / sleeping / talking to everyone present. Nothing seems to work.

I played for a few hours after this point and would hate to reload to a point prior, does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

For anyone else who has this issue, killing & resurrecting the guard who is shooting, via the console, is what got this working again for me.
