Hi guys, I bought Dead Money DLC and played the game. Now my caracther is level 35 and when I was about to enter the BoS abandonned bunker, surprise it needs the key. I searched a bit, no solution found and I also re-downloaded the DLC 2 times. Any solution?

Also I have some glitchy items(Codac, rebreather, lupa's brain, motor-runner's helmet, vault 22 cave door. 160 rocket souvenir, mark of caesar, violetta's brain engraved cigarette lighter and legion slave ledger,(All the quests with the items are finished))

Did you download the last patch from december? because from what your describing that might be the case.

Since I'm playing online on other games, I guess yeah because they disconnect you from the live if you don't

If it's not the case could you tell how to download it?

the patch before the one in December had the one that the BoS safehouse thats is near ForeHope camp you need a key to enter.
You need to be on Xbox Live to enter the game from there it will say the latest patch for the game is in...or something like that. after that you shouldn't have much trouble atleast.

No, it was already installed or at least, they don't ask to install

I'll try something like deleting the system file of the game and redownload the patch if possible

clear the cache on the 360 and have it update again...or if that doesn't do it the bad news is that you might have to start over again.

I haven't had the need key glitch (thankfully). The problem I was having was that the game wouldnt start the sierra madre transition when you walk towards the radio in the abandoned bos bunker.

What seems to have fixed it for me is:

1. Loading my working save and exiting the abandoned bunker. Make a new save.
2. deleting dead money, while leaving my cache alone.
3. Loading new save, telling it to load anyway when it says the dlc isnt found. note that if you enter the bunker now, it should be as it would if you never had dead money (lacking the radio and all the stuff in the room to the left). Make another save while outside the abandoned bunker.
4. Redownload dead money and load the most recent save from step 3.
5. Wait for the message saying the radio signal had been found and try to start the quest again.

I was at level 20 during all of this and have no idea how it will effect a character at levels >30 since levels 31-35 come with dead money. So use at your own risk. Hope this helps somehow.
