So, to start I want to say that in general, I enjoy this game very much.
However, there are way too many bugs in it. Freezing, glitches but most important, my newest problem;
I can no longer enter The Strip with my latest created character. The first time I entered without any problem. The load scene came up and I could continue my journey inside The Strip. But once I left to do other missions outside of The Strip, when I wanted to return, I couldn't. The load scene came up, and once it was done loading, all I got was a black screen. I can hear the surroundings and music and so on, but the game just wont continue any further... Just a black screen (and the orange lamp on my ps3 stops aswell). I tried it a couple of times and it was the same thing over and over. I thought "Maybe if I go elsewhere, take some level(s) and then return, maybe then this problem would be neglected..." I was wrong. The black screen returned.

I might add that my other games works just fine.

Any suggestions? Or do I simply have to wait for you to release updates to fix things like this?

I have the same problem, my screen also turns black when I try to enter the Strip and I have also tried to do some other things and then come back later, but it does not help.
I've also tried to turn autosave off, to see if it would help but it did not.
I love the game and hope that Bethesda can handle this bug with a patch for PS3.

I am having the same problem.... apparently there's a bug with the old cowboy hat. there's another post with this issue, maybe you could read that up.

Apparently, some players were having issues with entering the strip if they have started the "debt collector" quest. You need either Caleb McCafferty's(I think that's how you spell it) hat, who can be either in the atomic wrangler, or the strip itself depending where you are in the quest(debt collector) or an "old cowboy hat". for some reason, unless your wearing these, you cannot enter or in some cases exit the strip.

Gstaff said they have fixed these issues with the latest patch, which is still unavailable at the moment.
