MAJOR GAMEBREAKING PS3 GLITCH

Post » Mon Oct 05, 2009 10:59 am

Guys, I never had a problem with Obsidian or hated them, but this is ridiculous. After getting the new patch for New Vegas nothing was wrong until I tried sniping. When I pulled up the scope there was some odd blank computer screen thingy completely blocking the whole screen. I'm sorry I wish I had pictures but I do not know how to upload them. Just trust me on this. This thing happens on scopes, gambling, lock picking, and hacking.

Talked to some folks about this... it sounds like it'll happen if you try loading a save while in your Pip Boy menu. Try avoiding this, and it's something we'll be working on for an upcoming update.

Why reply to this glitch that is hardly gamebreaking, and completely ignore the thousands of people that can't play the game due to it being laggy and freezing?

At least he/she's being helpful. I can understand all the frustration due to this but christ some of you people just refuse to be content.

"No one is posting they don't care!" "Oh now they're posting, but it's not about something specific I had in my minds eye, they don't care"

I am just as frustrated as the rest of you but at least they're trying to help until a more official patch can be released.

I had the exact same problem before the patch. It started happening after I had completed Vault 22 (I think that's the number... the one with all the foliage), but I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game data to the HDD and it was gone.

Although this should be the least of anyone's worries given all of the major issues with this game.

But there's hundreds of threads about major gamebreaking bugs/glitches without a reply, and they chose to reply to one of the most trivial problems there is.

Thanks, I'll just try deleting my game data and restart the PS3 and see if that works.
