Make Companions LOOT for me! (and pick up disarmed weapons, : IV

Hi!

Just started using Unecessary Violence II (and liking it quite a lot so far!).

Now part of that mod is the posibility of disarming and being disarmed. Thats pretty neat, but I guess it can happen to companions too, so I thought that it would be great if they automatically started looting vanquished foes and picking up weapons lying around right after battle.

Is there a mod out there that does that?!?

Btw, my companions are: Vilja, Neeshka, Ruin, Red Sonia

I'll confirm that you shouldn't use Companion Share and Recruit to modify Vilja's behavior. It messes up her dialog and AI. You can ask her to look for weapons, but the idea that she would notice if she gets disarmed and automatically search for her weapon is a really good idea. I'll see if I can get that implemented before we release version 4.

I strongly suspect that using Companion Share and Recruit with Ruin would be a bad idea too, but I could be wrong.

That would be awesome. I lost count of the weapons she lost :ermm:

Reading the description Minionz sounds pretty dangerous to use with Vilja too but you can always give it a try.

I didn't implement full looting, but Vilja will soon be able to pick up any weapons that get dropped during combat. She'll only do it automatically if she gets disarmed and doesn't manage to find her weapon again while she's fighting, but it seems to work well. I just hope the testers don't find a way to break this new feature. We have some gifted testers (which means they are really good a breaking things).

U'r very welcome, and thanks a million for Vilja, she's definitely the best companion out there! (and SO stable!!!!)

Say, could you maybe help the Red Sonia people? She NEVER uses her weapons! :gun:
