Make dungeon a home?

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 3:56 pm

Just wondering if it is possible to make a dungeon into a home.

1) Do all dungeons respawn the enemies after awhile?

2) Also, would it be safe to store items in a chest within it?

3) Which dungeon would you choose to live in?

I forgot the name of the dungeon I would want to live in, I just remember it had a guard tower made of ship pieces and also had an underwater chest that was on top of a sunken ship. That is where I would store my goods :)

Dungeons respawn everything after 1 month game time. So no, it is not safe to store things in them.

You can basically get a dungeon as a home. People just happen to be in it and it ceases to be an actual dungeon after the quest line is done.

Spoiler
Dark Brotherhood quest line for working with them. I am pretty sure in the ending of them you can squat in their old place near Falkareth without any problem.

YES THATS THE ONE! I liked that dungeon a lot...too bad enemies respawn, devs should have given us the option of making one dungeon a home so we can live like hermits away from society

Not all dungeons are respawnable, i think if you go back and fourth everyday it would stay that way. So dont keep your valuables in there just incase it does wipe. I made my homes in many dungeons and enjoy it.

I personally like some of the exterior only 'dungeons', especially the tower on the ridge that separates the Rift from the volcanic tundra, Nilheim tower.

Find all the chests in the dungeon. Select them in the console and enter "player.setownership". That will make it yours to safely store items in.

Good tip BaratheonFury! Now if only there was a way to disable the enemies spawning in dungeons.. maybe point at them and "disable"? It can't be that simple probably just disables all enemies of that type or something lol...
